Maybe it's getting to that stage in the game i.e. some managers have been here quite a while, most people have different ideas on how to train players for each position, but ... even though I normally pay very little attention to the TM, I couldn't help noticing some very weirdly trained players out there.

Each to their own, but just for a bit of fun, I thought I'd start the ball rolling with 2 players. I'm not going to link to them for obvious reasons, but I'm sure a general description will suffice :-

The Slow Panther
This guy is more agile than a cat on a high wire (agility almost 40 ) ,
he's currently playing at O-Line and is aged 24, means that when the O-Line team have their annual body-popping championships Mr.Agile here is obviously going to retain his title. Before attempting to block the opposition D-Line he often performs a triple somersault ....slowly,of course.

The Lobotomized QB
This guy wanted to be a QB so badly that he never attended any school lessons, he was too busy training his biceps and passing skills. He succeeded, and managed to get his passing to 32 and his strength to 40.
Unfortunately, his intelligence only got to 28 .... which meant that he was too stupid to be able to navigate to the opticians therefore his vision is only 17.
For those of us with better vision, you can see that this season he's thrown more Interceptions than TD passes.

If you've taken a shine to either of these two guys then move quickly (unlike the slow panther ) because both are currently available on the TM ....... make sure to re-mortgage your house for the Slow Panther though, his weekly wages will make your eyes water.

Ho, ho - I have very recently Youth Pulled a QB to my Youth Academy with an intelligence of 12.2 ...... but I do intend to keep him

He has two special traits: Strong Arm and Track Star. The only question is whether or not it's worth training his Vision

But I would like to change his name to 'Headless Chicken'

Wouldn't that just be Jay Cutler?

Had a QB in my youth last week. Natural leader, intelligence 7.6. I assume he's leading my youth team straight into trouble.

Quite possibly the most one-skilled player I've ever seen in either G*I or RZA ...... The Tackler

Tackling=39 sounds like Wages=$85,000 per week

well, here's some consolation for you .... I didn't say he was the most badly trained player I've ever seen.

Here is the most badly trained I've ever seen ..... a player in G*I who was an O-Lineman with blocking=7,Tackling=19,Wages of $83,000 per week

putting those in RZA terms equates to blocking=17.5,Tackling=47.5,Wages=$415,000 per week

I'm still scratching my head when I think of that one ........

That's what's happening when you set your team on autopilot... You see a Liner with decent strength, you need a DLiner not an OLiner, you set the training for Tackling, you forget to let him play friendlies to gain BPOS, the training is going on and on and then there are guys in another game talkin' bout you
