In the playbook you could set when a rule should start at a certain distance to the goalline. The problem is you can´t stop this rule the same way. You could only stop it by an other rule for a closer distance to the goalline.
The most problems here for me are the first downs. Maybe you would play in your own Red zone a different type of plays then in a better fieldposition you have to set rules for every first down. You also haven´t the chance to go back to the gamesetup instead of the playbook rule because you have no penalties in the game at the moment so the distance for a new first down will allways be 10 yrds. At the moment you also could only change rules by clock for the last 4 minutes or change the rule by quarter. Example: distance to GL are more than 80 yrds you will on the first down rush from the Big I formation. So you can only set 1st down any yards to go distance to the GL any clock any big I formation rush direction You can only stop this rule by a rule like 1st down yrds to go - any distance to the GL <80 clock any SG 4 pass direction but you have now to create different rules for distance to GL for maybe <60 <40 <20 or you play allways the same and you have never the chance to go back to the game setup rules. So my suggestion is to give us a chance to stop a playbook rule for a certain distance to GL like the start choices. |

We had this on the table already, and there was a conclusion not to implement this AFAIR...Maybe somebody likes to dig in the archive for it, I cannot find it yet.
