4:26 1 and goal to go on opp 7, Nelson English (OC) snaps the ball to Javier Comstock (QB), Javier Comstock (QB) selected Graig Curtin (WR/L) as target, BES:1.06, DB:1.1, BE:1.166, pass, the pass goes outer screen left to the receiver, who catches the ball, Graig Curtin (WR/L) tackled by Jerrod Kearns (CB/R), this was a 7 yards pass. (Shotgun 2 WR vs. 3-3-5)

Well this usualy happens in TD runs in RZA, but to be perfectly honest with you, I never even noticed if this also tends to occur in TD passes. |

I'm guessing it happens when there's a simultaneous tackle at the end zone - run or pass.

Probably any time the ballcarrier would be tackled within 99.x yds of the LOS?

Exactly, there is no tackle record in this situation... The thing is that the engine comments "live"...and the player tackles, but cannot prevent the Touchdown...this is the reason it is mentioned in the playbyplay... This is why I do not understand it to be a bug. |
