Could you tell us Pete, would a QB's passing ability drop off much late in a game if he was in all game?

Why should ability change during a game ? Surely the only way that Passing Ability changes is via specific training ?

As Pete said, I meant overall ability to pass due to a strength dropoff. Clearly, none of the skills are effected by energy - just physicals.

Yes, all actions are affected by this, all game situations...

Would a QB"s arm strength be as weakened by 40 passes as a DL would be generally weakened by 40 plays?

It's not just arm strength for a QB from 40 passes. It's getting hit and knocked down. Watch any game Vick plays in nowadays. The NFL has figured out that he wears out if you hit him enough (because he's not that big). If a QB just stood in a perfect pocket all game, of course he would not get as tired...but most of them take some hard hits.

One blind-side hit = about 40 passes!

Yeah, when a QB passes that should be arm energy, and if he runs then normal. For a sack he needs a confidence hit but we probably need a toughness skill in that case.

Then i guess it is only coincidence for the x time i observe guys having loss same energy with different actions

I am fine with this since OL basically always block which would use about the same energy no matter what the specific outcome.

What I wonder about a lot is the "unused" backs on run plays. Are they assumed to block or run as decoys, etc, and thus use energy?
