In the mentioned game the named RB had all his long runs in the first 7:30 of the game.
What i wanted to state is, that this has to be taken into account...as well as the 3-3-5 against the Big-I (this is the impact of the new engine)...

As I wrote, 3-3-5 is a worst formation in the sim.

I have questions that's a bit off topic, but just a wee bit.

A RB or WR or anyone with the ball is the the "tackle calculation process" and get's away with it = he breaks the tackle. Now, IRL this tackle breaking takes up some time(we're talking seconds here) when the RB is slowed down and he needs to regain his speed afterwards and in this time, the rest of the players on the defensive team have the time to move closer to him. How is this in RZA? Do other defensive players "move faster" when the tackle breaking situation is occurring or is it calculated and taken into account as an isolated event?

Also and interesting play form one of my games.
8:14 1 and 10 to go on own 31, Zijaudin Nemanjic (OC) snaps the ball to Fo-hai Thieu (QB), Fo-hai Thieu (QB) selected Ivory Edgar (TE/L) as target, Tim Lang (DE/L) breaks through the line, Klemens Meyer (OLB/L) goes for the blitz, this inner left pass goes to the receiver, who catches the ball, Kimya Okorie (CB/R) missed his chance for a tackle, Kemal Simon (OLB/R) missed the tackle, Chimalsi Obi (MLB) missed the tackle, Gerhard Schneider (MLB) missed his chance for a tackle, tackled by Richard Hoye (FS/C), forward progress: 9 yards (Big I formation vs. 4-4-3)

four missed tackles for a gain of only 9.

as for the play.... if your asking for a real life probability than my answer is its not that uncommon... missed tackles arent necessarily frontal assaults in which the offensive player overpowers the defender... I'd image most miss tackles are what we consider arm tackles from the defender in which the offensive player stiff arms him out the way or just runs through it...

Thats what i imagine most miss tackles to be in terms of this game...

I wonder if when players come into contact if there's degrees of contact - like flush, partial, etc, probably based on Ag.

I don't agree with you. There were 2, not 4 missed tackles. Okorie and Schneider "missed their chances for a tackle", so they were not in the right place to successfully tackle a ball carrier imo.

Never noticed this distinction b4.

So does "missed their chance" mean they were beaten by Ag (or maybe Carry)? i.e. missed altogether (but were in the vicinity)?

Edit - I also just noticed that in the run game we have "avoids the tackling" and "breaks the tackle".

I guess there are clues in here about Ag/Carry and Str/Carry of ball carriers vs the Ag/tack and Str/tack of the D.

Or is it Ag vs Ag and Str/Carry vs Str/tack? Depends on whether Carry helps a ball carrier set up a defender or not of course.
