okay so ive got this guy in the tm im looking at; hes got 44 INT with passing and vision in the 30's and strength in the 30's; hes 1 year older than my draft guy from last season; my question is should i pick this guy up as a better starter for when my old one retires or should i stick with the drafted one as he has higher strength and int but lower passing and vision?

I'll try be impartial given we're in the same division and looking at the same guy lol.

Sang Schmidt is your starter atm. And has another ~4 years. Tbh this guy isn't far behind, you'll just need to spend a season developing his str and he'll be at that level.

He is better than your current prospect atm. But your draftee has better int and tw plus is a year younger so in about 4/5 seasons time I'd prefer him.

So I'd only buy if:

a) I was willing to sell Sang Schmidt and play this guy straight away (or from midway through the season). Not much diff like I said and might as well start playing him now to get exp up so in 3/4 years he'll be excellent.

or

b) The draftee is going to cap str soon (this is a risk with TM guy too) and you are worried about draftees talent being an issue (skills will cap ~42). So your willing to sell him soon after picking up TM guy.

There's no point having all three guys because they won't get enough game time to start picking up experience.

edit: Personally if I was in your situation I wouldn't get him unless he was going cheap. There's no point spending ~20mil or more on a guy that isn't going to add a great deal to your team. Save the money and invest it in other areas. The draftee is your long term QB so don't stifle his development by bringing in a third.
