Had something interesting happen this morning. A friend of mine was selling a player, of course he made me aware of it in case I was interested in buying him. 4* Talent safety, actually very good. I couldn't bid on him because we were apparently sharing the same IP address.

Now, of course I can see why a rule like this would exist, otherwise people would cheat and have two teams etc. But when I was bidding on the player, I was at home. I had the previous evening been at his house and logged into my account on his wifi, but when I came to bidding it was this morning and I was here.

Isn't that a little harsh? Strange though as someone outbid me (as I was allowed to put an initial bid on the other day) and he went for 17k this morning, a steal if you ask me.

We watch back to your IP history for a few days (how many is a secret). This has reasons, I am sorry not to provide a better solution/fix for this at the moment.

I totally get why the rule is there, to stop someone having two accounts etc. But just irritating that I was going to try and get the player from him and I happened to visit his place for the first time in a few weeks the day before the auction.

At least now I know not to go to his place if I want to buy one of his players!

You can go to his place, you can be on his wifi. You just don't have to log on your rza while you are there. The site won't check your ip adress unless you log in here!

I know that now. We were comparing draft picks.

A couple of weeks ago I got the same message when trying to bid on a player. It was a day or two after the news came out that a player had multiple teams. Did that have anything to do with me getting that message?

I like that answer it was short and sweet. But, why did I get a message like that?

I finally broke down and bought a supporter. I really like all the stats and management of the game,it really does make it interesting. Plus calling different plays in the game with the playbook is great, although I am still working on getting it right.

For you and or anybody that may or may not care, my name is Cody and as you might guess I am from the San Antonio,Texas area.

Cody, it was just not depending on that multiteamplayer bid thing. That no was not meant to be arrogant or ignorant, I am just lazy on answering when using a tablet

Oh, and thank you for the support, appreciated

I was being sincere when I said i liked your answer. I'm sure you get tons of question to answer so I try to figure things out here on the forum. But this time I wasn't sure what the deal was. Thanks for answering my question
