To be fair, probably an NFL kicker would represent a player with STR 45+, KIC 45+ and, most important, EXP 5.

I would agree with Strength 45+, but not with Kick 45+.

Based on the salaries here a good-NFL kicker would have at RZA a kicking skill of 38-40. A Sebastian Janikowski with a salary of 4 Mio$ per year would have skills of 44 Kicking, 50 strength + Strong leg.

The top 9 kickers all have 90% or better...

To be fair, probably an NFL kicker would represent a player with STR 45+, KIC 45+ and, most important, EXP 5.

Our best kickers may have the skills to compare to NFL kickers, but none here has got the EXP. Hence most of our K operate on 40-60%ish of a potential maximum.

we had another thread here about the same topic:Kicker thread Rookie forum

imo, the success rate especially in short range (<30 yards) is way to low! within this distance even a moderate player must score certainly.

i trained my kicker up to strength 42/ kicking 40. did not offer him a new contract, because estimated wage is nearly 90k $...

by the way, thought about the factor experience mentioned by Buffalo.
maybe there´s a difference from RZA to RL. i´m not sure, but maybe a RZA player is not meant to have 5 stars exp after playing 10 pro season. alot of youth players only have 0.5-1 stars...

Absolutely. Pete wants it like that, we discussed that. Fair enough.

In this game, only a small fraction of players will get to EXP 5. K/P are the most unlikely position at RZA to reach EXP 5.

Some real world data:

2012 FG statistics

Conversion rate inside 30 yards is pretty good.
