Any photoshop wizards out there?
If so could you give me a little tutorial (or point me to a tutorial website/youtube video) on how to separate highlights/lowlights/shadows/reflections to different layers from an existing picture? Quite like how it's done on this page: Photo Realistic Football Template BTW anyone who has photoshop or just likes to look at fictional team jerseys, logos or wallpapers (not just football but soccer, basketball, hockey etc. too) give this site I've found recently a go, it's awesome: sportslogos.net/concepts A few of my favorites with photoshop templates to make your own custom image if you'd like (they're quite nicely explained so anyone can understand how to make them): Jersey Wallpapers (template download somewhere on the first 10 pages) 3D Rendered Helmet Tutorial (save the images to make your own template) The .PSD Movement (all sorts of templates to download) Major League Football (my fictional concept league) (a fictional league made by a member, pretty awesome stuff) Under Armour Takes Over The NFL (some fictional under armour jerseys used for NFL teams) Check them out and make some sweet helmet avatars or whatever here in RZA Oh, and if anyone knows his way around PS then help me out please |

Tutorials for cutting images takes you here; youtube search Thanks bronco, but I'm not looking for tutorials about cutting out parts of a picture. I'm looking for ways to separate the shadows, high&lowlights or even reflections off an existing image like in the link I posted. But here's what I mean: Constant parts Source: http://fraserdavidson.co.uk/sportslogos/tempa.png Overspill Source: http://fraserdavidson.co.uk/sportslogos/tempb.png Reflections Source: http://fraserdavidson.co.uk/sportslogos/tempc.png Highlights Source: http://fraserdavidson.co.uk/sportslogos/tempd.png Lowlights Source: http://fraserdavidson.co.uk/sportslogos/tempe.png And finally your work layer where you put in the jersey/pants/socks/helmet/facemask color, stripings, logos etc. The rest of the layers above will make the picture look realistic.
