I would just wanna point out that this isn't exactly right. The reason China can't make a stand against the U.S. right now is because they aren't making money out of us. The U.S. owes China billions of dollars, due to paying for exports the last few decades basically off of IOUs and bonds. If China demanded payment right now, both countries would be forced to default... The U.S. simply because it doesn't have the cash, and China because they have been propping up their own economy on (essentially worthless) American IOUs for years. The whole mess is so convoluted and ridiculous.

Adding on to all that the recent struggles around the EU and basically, the civilized world is boned.

You're right. It is a lot of fake money at this point. It might as well be a cartoon or a video game reality. The concept of real money doesn't even mesh with today's real world global economic interactivity anymore. One of many things which are broken or in the process of breaking down.
