So the main gripe against the 4-3 is the pass def? Im fairly new in this game, but use 4-3 alot, and seem to have good results with it, on average. holmeboy wrote:
Edit: After my league game on Tues I pulled out the foil hat and played a few scrimmages: Holmeboy, did you have def set up vs pass for these tests? Assume you did. Any idea how weighted the formations vs formations thing is? Would the 4-3 "disadvantage" outweight LBer coverage skills, etc...? The settings were 434 to defend against pass and rush, no blitzing. Half the 443 results used blitzers but I'd have to go through the games to check which ones and how much. Offence was set up to pass and rush equally from I-formation in all directions using the game settings. (I had some singleback plays on my PB so the number of plays is quite low). I have 20 credits left so I'll run some scrimmages using 434 edit: fwiw all my D players are at least draft quality (except maybe DT), and I've no problem sharing the skills if people want to know. Have you compared the results of 4-3 (no blitzers) vs. 3-4 (blitzers) and 3-4 (no blitzers)?
