Right now I think that the INT can't play as big role as it should because the WR run straight down field and stop. They don't rune rounts it all numbers. And it be that way for who know how long.
But the INT should be a huge factor form the QB on who he throws to. Meaning that a great INT QB would throw to the best match up on the field. While a bad QB would throw into bad to very bad match ups. So for example this chart would represent the qb decision making on the chance of throwing to his best match up to his worst match up on a pass play. __________________________________________________________ _________50int 40int 30int 20int 10int 1st best__50%_40%_30%_20%_10% 2nd best_30%_30%_30%_25%_15% 3rd best__10%_20%_25%_25%_30% 4thbest___5%_5%_10%_20%_25% 5thbest __5%_5%_5%_10%_20% But that also after a vision check would take away some WR form the list leaving maybe just just 2 or 3 WR for the INT check. QB INT might also determine how quickly the QB reads an open receiver, thus he gets thru his reads faster and is thus less vulnerable to pressure/sacks.
