A deal with the team’s sponsor Spikey Cleats was reached earlier today, and the Xenos are excited about hosting a third tournament. “This took most of this season to work out the details with the city organizers and the folks with Spikey Cleats,” Xenos team owner Xeno72 said, “we feel that this is another great cup that Atma City will be pleased to host, and we look forward to get it up and running. Yes, all teams that participate must have Spikey Cleats as their sponsor to qualify.” Early details of the Spikey Cleats Classic is that there are to be eight teams, and as pointed out, all teams will have Spikey Cleats as their sponsor in order to participate. The cup games will be held on Wednesdays, and the winner will take home a trophy that is a replica of the rumored to be first football cleat ever made, created in 1897 by Sammy “Spike” Johnson. Spike was known as a good player and quarterback before football went mainstream, and said to have been one of the first people to mention the idea of the forward pass. It was actually Spike’s great-great grandchildren, brother and sister duo Jessica and Tommy Allen who started up the Spikey Cleat company in 1977. J and T’s shoe company started out as a general shoe company in 1972, but both Jessica and Tommy both being sport enthusiasts, decided to design and spawn a sports-oriented shoe line as well, and Spikey Cleats was born and is currently under management by Tommy’s youngest son James and his wife Monica that has now prospered for the last 36 years. Grr, dang it!
 I had to deny a team I have a lot of respect for because they aren't sponsored by Spikey Cleats...I guess I'll have to encourage him to play in my other cups, lol  |

Spikey Cleats Classic cancelled due to Toilet Bowl II cup. Perhaps another try in the future. Thanks to those who did attempt to sign up, you're welcome to sign up for the Toilet Bowl
