The day was cheerfully sponsored by Joe's Taxidermists, a brand that has developed a rather peculiar reputation: "You snuff 'em, we stuff 'em".
As the game kicked off with the Wookies electing to receive, the TigerCats promptly maintained prime possession on their first play, showcasing their strategic acumen. Eagles mixed deft maneuvers with notable tactical formations, exchanging the ball multiple times and maintaining a delicate balance in the fight for dominance.
In an early highlight, the Wookies' Jean Boyce, during a critical moment, executed a sublime pass to the ever-reliable Daniel Glover, setting the stage for the game's first touchdown. Following a successful PAT by Rocky Foote, the Wookies’ offense and the roaring crowd appeared set to take command.
