Good game Uaschitschun, we seem to be pretty evenly matched these days. Maybe we get another round in the Elite playoffs? I'd rather avoid having to play you again if I have to until next season though.
My team has been living dangerously lately: two OT wins and going up with only 4 minutes left in another. Fortunately my teams keeps doing just enough to survive. |

Thanks and congrats for your victory. I did not expect to be so close! And about playing again in postseason, let s first think about winning tonight, we are in such a long losing streak in League.

We have a very tiny chance of not being relegated after producing a pretty decent season. And a tough decision has to be made - to play a very high risk open game and hope for a Sea Lions huge defeat or just play conservative playbook and try to win and pray for the Sea Lions to pull off another upset against the Bobbers.

To pull another upset today would be truly miraculous, because parts of the squad still are drastically impaired by the PC-hit from the game against the mystics. So at some point in the game we will have to field a lot of second string players and have to hope that the MOTY-powered players of the Bobbers will not maul them all too bad. It's not instilling all too much confidence, also, that the Bobbers lost their first playoff game in the supercup at home to the Creators team, and I tend to expect that they do not lose twice in a row on their own turf The playbook is set up, though, and now we can only sit and watch what's happening later on.
However the outcome: S56 will go down as one of the most exciting for the SEA LIONS franchise to date. Good luck to everyone today  |

After 2 seasons being relegated with an 8-8 record, we grabbed one more win, enough to stay in Elite and play in postseason. It will be the first team in the team young history!

We pushed the Bobbers to OT, but in the end the limitations of the second string players were too tough to overcome. It is still maddening that the choice to use MOTY against the mystics backfired that big on us.
On the bright side: We will be back next season. And we will try again

We completely fell apart in the last home game, but it didn't matter at least. It's a painful 8-8 record relegation, but nothing compares to spending a season in the Elite.
Good luck to all who made it to the playoffs or stayed! It's always a privilege to play here and hopefully we'll have another shot at succeeding at this level. |

Congratulations Uaschitschun on your first playoff trip. Beat the Magpies, and we get our fourth game of the season.

I have finished my (unexpected) 3rd Elite participation with a 4-12 record and pick #4 on next draft. It was a bad season just as I was waiting it to be. Now I will think about my next region to compete and reach Elite (I did it being on Dragons and on Galaxy).
