i think the one thing that we can all agree on, regardless of the actions taken, is that the hamas regime benefits nobody they are a militant group who will stop at nothing, including the destruction of their own innocent citizens, to kill jews and israelis i urge somebody to come up with any argument asserting hamas as anything but terrorists once again this is not the palestinians, only hamas Just ask people from Palestine and people from Israel what they think. What would you do ? What would you choose : war or peace ? thats part of the problem both sides right now are overwhelmingly in favor of war hamas wants blockades lifted, which israel will never do israel wants to stay in there, destroy the tunnels, and then leave People fight, people die. I'm really convinced that accusing one side or the other definitely does not bring any solution. |

Israel said that... Of course, they both say that... Looks like a never ending story... People fight, people die. |

civilian casualties have been a part of warfare for a long time
it sucks, its terrible, its tragic, but its there it just sucks that the palestinian death toll rises just because hamas chooses to fire from hospitals, schools, etc. |

It's not as simple as that, especially with today's latest news.
A school was hit today. It was a designated UN shelter for refugees. Israel said they were aiming for Hamas fighters who had fired from near the school - not the from school itself, merely near. Crucially, the reports do not say exactly how near. The UN had repeatedly told Israel the school was being used to shelter refugees, they still bombed the area. That's irresponsible in the extreme. If Israel are to get any support in this conflict they need to show restraint. That doesn't excuse Hamas's actions though - they will be fully aware of the outcry this atrocity will cause, and will certainly be doing it on purpose. Both sides deserve nothing but contempt. |
