When I am browsing through the game, and check this or that, I found that it could be helpful for "non football cracks" when there are little helpers here and there. As example I added a small hint on how many players you need to have per position to be "set" and to be on the "safe side", in the depth chart.
Can you think of more such small hints? I guess if we could support these "less knowledge" managers in terms of Football playing, we could addict more of them. Last edited on 2013-08-10 15:16:44 by pete |

make sure you have 4th down covered. I started writing a separate for each game this season and a couple times I flat out forgot to check the 4th down situations for if the score was even.(had them for leading and behind)

what would you like to read there? The overall structure, how to think: Have your narrow inputs like Q4 / 4th down / 1y / 20 y to GL / score -6 / run over the more wide inputs like any / 4th down / any y / 20 y to GL / any score / field goal If not the first one will not fire Don't go for long passes with a newbie team Like phareux says the 4th down situations (go for it/FG/punt), depending on field positions, distance to go, score and maybe clock (Q2 and Q4) Put player positions abbr (like TE, G, WR, etc) in the manual's presentation of formations. To an unexperienced reader this is today just a bunch of blue dots on green grass ;-) Maybe a mouse over function showing you these formations (right side of screen) when setting up your playbook. Defense - scout your opponent Use friendly games to test your playbook changes, watch replay and stats to see what goes and not Last edited on 2013-08-11 08:42:52 by Darkwater |

A native English speaker should make sentences, I could add to a small help-window

I think a brief statement that blocking and tackling are more of a secondary skill for the STT and STBL positions would help out.

no I put it in both threads. I think new users could do with help on the new ST positions. It would definitely surprise me if I didn't know much about the game or football that positions called STT and STBL didn't actually need blocking and tackling as there main skill.
