They had to do something to what was becoming a real joke of an 'achievement' - but does it go far enough and are the changes simply cosmetic without actually doing anything of substance?

Im not sure i like the mixing of players so they dont represent their own Conference - at least the AFC v NFC gave it some semblance of identity even if the gameplay was facile.

Now its Team Rice v Team Sanders?

New ProBowl Format

What a bullshit....own Football rules, a 35 secs clock, no special team action..

"if the throwing QB is a left hander and overthrows the WR on the left side of the WRs head, the opposing team has a score according to the following rules:

if the last tuesday of the regular season was sunny in "blue little village", Eastern Alabama, the score is a touchdown

if the day wasnt sunny, it will be a field goal.

By adding this rule, we believe in a significant increase of people watching the weather forecast - which will make the Pro Bowl a more special event"...

I can see why they are doing it from a marketing perspective. It makes sense for them to target fantasy football since the players are some of the biggest NFL supporters and the industry is booming right now. I'm a little surprised at the way they're going about it. Taking away conferences didn't need to happen. That seems to make it matter even less than it already did. And I think some of these rules are what the NFL will look like in a couple of years. Particularly the no-kickoff.

Have you guys seen what the uniforms will look like?
Pro Bowl Uniforms
Honestly to me that looks like an Oregon St. vs. Oregon College Football match-up rather than the NFL Pro Bowl.
