Ok, I changed it and we are back to 8 teams format, since there was no interest so far.

Round One
Group A Xenos 6 - 27 Packers - Packers were running the ball all night long. They had only 6 passing attempts resulting in total of 2 yards in the air, but it was still enough to win the game quite easily. - Packers defense helped a lot to win this game. Defense had 7 tackles for loss (one of them was a sack), 2 interceptions (one of them was pick-six) and one recovered fumble. - Xenos DE Denny Proctor did record impressive 14 tackles (3 of them were for loss) and 0 missed tackles, but his performance didn’t influence his teammates to make it more difficult for Packers. FAJNY TIM 20 - 17 Motol Ducks - The game was probably closer than expected, but FAJNY TIM did not fa l t e r and made it clear that they are favorites to win the Group A. - Motol Ducks recorded more rushing yards, passing yards and first downs (almost two times more) than their opponent, but it was arguably special teams, that decided this game in favor of FAJNY TIM. Pascual Fuentes (78 return yards in 3 carries) and Ricardo Weber (98 return yards in 3 carries) were devastating Ducks special team the whole game. - FAJNY TIM’s LB Olaitan Akinjide had a great game with 19 tackles (0 missed tackles) and 1 interception (returned for 39 yards). For the Ducks it was RB James -G.O.A.T- who had a decent game. It was his first game for the Ducks after his promotion from the youth academy and he had 77 rushing yards and 1 TD and he was the one who was keeping Ducks drives alive in the second half of the game. Group B Brisbane Meteors 30 - 31 AS Roma Wolves - Thrilling game till the very end of the game! It was anybody’s game for the whole game. The decisive moment came at 1:26 in the fourth quarter, when the Wolves were leading 31:30. Meteors had the ball on Wolves 3 yard line and Patrik Musílek (LB) intercepted Salaam Diallo’s pass to win the game for the Wolves. - Meteros QB Salaam Diallo had a pretty bad day. He completed 11 out of 20 passes for 90 yards, 0 TDs and 3 interceptions. - The MVP of the game was without any doubt Wolves LB Patrik Musílek, who had 5 tackles and 2 crucial interceptions. The first one was a pick-six and the other one was the game-winning interception. Slavia Pankrác 14 - 33 Phalanx - Slavia Pankrác participated in every Duck Bowl so far, but unfortunately for them they never managed to get to the playoffs from the group stage. They made it complicated once again for them, but there are still two games ahead of them and if they win both of them, they will probably get to the playoffs. - Phalanx were dominating the game in all aspects, but there wasn’t a clear winner until the fourth quarter. In the fourth quarter Phalanx scored 2 touchdowns and 2 field goals and they appear to be one of the biggest favorites of this friendly cup. - There were three interceptions thrown in this game and all of them were thrown by different quarterback (two of them by Slavia’s quarterbacks).
