San Antonio Armadillos home crowd were held silent in the entire first quarter of play, as Slavia Pankrac’s ground game led by FB Hulka pounded away for two touchdowns himself, giving Pankrac the halftime lead at 17-0.

New fire burned under the Armadillo team in the third quarter at the eight minute mark, when WR Khan grabbed a three-yard zip pass for a touchdown. The second play of the very next series for Pankrac saw instead CB Weber for a 21 yard interception, which set up a HB Baily six yard touchdown run. Pankrac was on the move again and doing well, until Armadillo CB Caneschi stole a pass and ran it back for a 45 yard touchdown.

But that would be all of the scoring from the Armadillos, as QB Zmeskal found TE Placek for 11 yards, and a hard-nose running effort by FB Tancos to win at LoneStar Stadium, 31 to 21.

San Diego Blitzkrieg came in compliment of the meaning of ‘blitzkrieg’ into Pankrac’s Slavia Arena, never slowed down at all. In addition to K Rosenberg’s five field goals, the defensive stand of the Blitzkrieg kept Pankrac out of the endzone all day, only allowing them to put up four total scores, all fieldgoals.

Late in the third quarter for the visiting Blitzkrieg was an 80 yard strike from QB Sarvari to WR Galbraith to keep the score mounting. Slavia Pankrac looked to up the risk by throwing very deep passes to hopefully get quick scores, but San Diego Blitzkrieg held strong, and accented their huge day with MLB Wertz intercepting the ball with 7:18 to go in the game and winning, 50-12.

With the tough loss at home against the San Diego Blitzkrieg, Slavia Pankrac was looking for exact revenge against tournament host Atma City Xenos; and they got it. Xenos could only deliver one field goal all day, as Pankrac started their day of revenge with QB Jicha to WR Pracil 56 yard pass at the five minute mark of the first quarter of play.

The Pankrac offensive pounding ground and air attack both showed up this time in Slavia Arena, as their passing yards were nearly 300 yards versus Xenos abysmal 76, and RB Dragoun by himself scampered for 101 yards off 14 carries. In the fourth, Pankrac didn’t stop and wanted to make sure they put an end to the Xenos with a 24-0 scoring accent to put a stamp on their big win, 55 to 3.

Off the huge home-win against the Xenos, Phalanx showed up ready to give Slavia Pankrac grief in their own stadium, and by definition of yards gained they did: 318 total yards for Phalanx, and only 163 for Pankrac. Pankrac only had 51 rushing yards, a 1.4 team running back average and just two of sixteen third down conversion effort. It was defense for Pankrac that gave them the boost they needed, as it was all field goals on both sides except for DE Macha ran back a fumble for 64 yards. This gave Pankrac it’s birth in ToiletBowl IV, winning 10 to 9.

After the Phalanx and Real Paolid game, it was discovered that Paolid fans in The Thunder Stadium began walking out after the first minute of the fourth quarter. Phalanx never showed a degree of flaw on any side of the ball, and terrorized Real Paolid and their fans with six field goals by K Cottrell alone.

Phalanx had 32 fist downs and 475 total yards and only 167 yards total for Paolid. Two of 15 third down conversions and just eight first downs and having the ball 45% of the game was a bad mix for the Real Paolid, as they were shut out 46-0.

Tough defense for both teams as Real Paolid met up with Mtown Badgers in the second round, as Badgers were held to just 37 yards passing and only six first downs. Paolid came alive off 8.1 yards per carry by FB Trieste along with six broken tackles, and WR Fusaro’s ruthless receiving effort grabbing 115 yards in eight catches that was ignited by a 54 yard touchdown pass. Paolid kept it’s Toilet Bowl dream alive by winning at The Badger Sett stadium, 16 to 7.

Real Paolid was on the road again to face the Firenze Fappers in round three of the Toilet Bowl. Most Paolid fans say that K Chiriches was the game hero, as he started the scoring with a 38 yard fieldgoal, and ended the scoring with a 62 yarder early in the fourth, which if wasn’t made, could have been a win for the Fappers.

Fappers looked solid in their passing in rushing in comparison to Paolid, amassing 358 total yards to Paolid’s 161 total yards and only nine first downs. The entire game remained close the whole time, but even with a late Fappers surge in the fourth, Real Paolid held on to win 19 to 17.

With a believed unlikely win and upset over Firenze Fappers, Real Paolid faced another tough challenge in enemy territory at The Panzer Palace, home of the San Diego Blitzkrieg. All predictions of this game were later found to be way off; nearly at the time Paolid found itself on top 17 to 7 at the half. Paolid fans in great number went bonkers at the 5:23 mark in the first quarter of play, when QB Gazzi found a wide open WR Burley first down and ten at their own three yard line for 97 yards.

QB Gazzi found his favorite WR Fusaro for a 16 yard score to gain an early 14-0 lead in the second. Blitzkrieg fans were able to roar right back in the very next series watching WR Bankole grab a 68 yard pass from QB Savari to put morale and points on the board.

At 9:55 in the fourth quarter, Rosenberg kicked a 49 yard field goal to tie up the game, and stingy defense from both teams kept each other from scoring again and sent the game into over time. In two minutes and forty two seconds, Paolid K Chiriches boots a 42 yarder to win the game in OT, 23 to 20.

All teams participating in Toilet Bowl IV had every right to represent in the championship, but this time around, it was Slavia Pankrac and Real Paolid that fought just that much harder to fight each other for the gold Toilet Bowl trophy.

Real Paolid was slow to start, but when they got going, they kept on going. They owned 57% of the clock, and QB Gazzi threw for 200 yards at 54% completion and two touchdowns. Versus Slavia Pankrac, Paolid had more of an all around balanced approach on both sides of the ball.

Pankrac scored first with two 32 yard field goals and kept Paolid scoreless in the first and fourth quarter. RB Bubenik banged his way for 94 yards, but fumbled three times. Play-off eyebrow-raiser RB Hulka had no carries or yards and RB Dragoun was held to only eight yards.

Real Paolid simply brought more, as they defensively had eight bags, two intereceptions and three forced-fumbles to win their very first Toilet Bowl, and winners of Toilet Bowl IV. Congratulations to all for playing, and especially Real Paolid as the fourth winner of the golden Toilet Bowl trophy!
