Another sack tho for the Dynamos. The Mascots O-Line will need to protect their QB better or they will find it hard to convert these drives with morale and yard sapping sacks like this. Again it is the Left DE Sazanov who makes the sack. Mascots forced to punt.
Dynamos take the ball at own 20 but immediately pick up a first down with a 10 yard pass completion. |

Dynamos 2 - 9 Mascots Mascots start the 2nd Qtr by forcing a 3 and out but cannot move the ball and have to punt it back. This looks like a real war of attrition. |

Once again the Dynamos find success from the 4WRSG set - mixing the pass and run effectively to move the ball 30 yards in 4 plays. Another nice first down pickup of 8 yards and they move into Mascots territory.

The run against the 335 is hurting the Mascots as the Dynamos approach the redzone.

Mascots ineffective on next drive and punt - Dynamos convert a huge 3rd and 11 to get to midfield and a new set of downs.

That play means again the Dynamos stuff the run into the Mascots as they look to tack on more points before HT.

Another huge 3rd down conversion! Just as the Mascots stood firm at their 27 and made it 3rd and 10, the Dynamos found a 14 yard pass completion to keep the drive alive. Just over a minute left in Q2

The Mascots again stand firm at the 12 - but the resulting FG attempt is again good and the Dynamos extend their lead to 8-0.
However a fine kickoff return immediately gives the Mascots great field position and they take advantage with the clock running out to score their first points of the game with a FG of their own! Half Time : Maykop Dynamos 8 - 3 Free Agent Mascots The Mascots will need to find some offense to stay in touch with the Dynamos who look set to run and pass out of the 4WR set all day, with the odd 2WRSG play slipped in to keep the engine happy! |
