Eagles lose. Awesome weekend underway. Honestly though, the NFC East in general really doesnt deserve any representation in the playoffs, they all have played sub par football. I would have much rather seen the Cardinals in the playoffs than anyone (even the Cowboys) in the NFC East.

Well, the Eagles beat the Cards a few weeks ago so not sure what your reasoning would be to defend them getting in ahead of us.

eagles play six games vs BELOW AVERAGE teams (nfc east), which inflates their record. OK so they beat the Cards, but the Cards played 2 games vs 49ers, 2 games vs Seahawks (beat them at seattle). C'mon man NFC east SUCKS LOL.

The NFC East also played 4 games against the AFC West which is the toughest division in football this year (they have 3 PO teams).
And the Cards played 4 games against the AFC South which includes the Texans (2-14) and Jags (4-12). |

If anything this argument should be used against the Colts. They have 3 losing teams in their division against whom they went 6-0... Outside of their division they went 5-5. The Colts division opponents combined for a 13-35 record.
The Eagles went 6-4 outside of the division and their 3 division opponents combined for a 18-30 record. Certainly not great, but better than the poor AFC South. |
