The first Under 45% Cup has reached the championship stage! Four teams made it to the KO round, Florida Gators, Hobbiton Perians, Regina Monologues and Besaid Aurochs. The KO round matched up Florida Gators and Besaid Aurochs in one game and the other was Hobbiton Preians against the Regina Monologues. The Florida Gators were beaten 38-30 in a close high-scoring matchup, while the Hobbiton Perians handles the Regina Monologues 27-14. The final game will be the Hobbiton Perians at Besaid Aurochs. The Aurochs have a chance to be the first, and so far, only, undefeated team in the history of the Under 45% Cup! Also, I am revising the name of the cup to The Gator Bowl! Starting hopefully within the next 2 weeks, the Gator Bowl will begin on a regular basis!

My team is outmanned at almost every position, so my plan is to double the amount of cheerleaders on my sideline and halve the size of their costumes. This, coupled with me piping nitrous oxide into the opposing lockerroom should level the playing field.

lol, well I am not sure that would be legal, but whatever. Also, you would have to do that at your stadium, not theirs, since they would already be at their own.
Any comments or suggestions for the Gator Bowl Series? |

Heya, I thought I should weigh in, being the team that has played both Besaid and Hobbiton. Congrats to both guys in the final, both of you deserve to be there!
 Here are my thoughts on the final:
I beat Besaid, but I thought I was outplayed and should have lost. I lost to Hobbiton, but everything that could have gone wrong went wrong for my team. Both teams have really good playbooks and are tough to prepare against. I think the edge goes to Besaid, it's going to be tough for Hobbiton to overcome the talent, but you never know! It's been a great tourney, it only would have better if I was in the final... heh! Oh, and Besaid won't be undefeated... they lost they're first game. I remember, I was there...  |

Oops, thanks for catching that. My mistake there, there were no undefeated teams this time around. Maybe next time there will be!

Well, the final game of the first and only Under 45% Cup has just wrapped up, and we have a winner of the Cup, Besaid Aurochs! Congratulations!
It was a close game, with it coming down to the final seconds as Besaid beat Hobbiton 17-15! It was a hard fought game for both teams and they should both feel proud that neither team gave up and they kept it so close! Congrats to both of you! |

WOOHOO! My team really took a jump in rating there, didn't it. I can't explain it myself. I just made moves and suddenly one day I see my team clear 50%, and I ask myself, "How did this happen?"
