To this writer, reinforcement of the concept of ‘Any Given Sunday’ occurred at Crusty Tube Sock Arena, home of the Firenze Fappers versus the Motol Ducks in ToiletBowl V.

In the second round of ToiletBowl V, the Ducks visited the Fappers, two already high-powerhouse teams in their own right. Overall, the two are nearly statistically even, both battle tested as the seasoned veterans they are.

In this first match-up, it seemed like the offense chemistry of the Fappers were in perfect harmony, especially with their running backs and wide receivers. Martineau QB threw for two touchdowns at 57 percent for a total of 225 yards for the Fappers.

The Fapper DL stepped up as well, bringing down Ducks QB Holik three times. Even with -G.O.A.T- RB scooping up 117 rushing yards for the Ducks, the Fappers took the toughly contested fight win, 27-14.

The Motol Ducks had an uphill battle the entire tournament. All but one of their games were on the road, having to face their opponent in their opponent’s stadium. They found a way through it, as the first time facing the Firenze Fappers was their only loss.

Even tho the rebuke from the home crowd was completely in disfavor for the Ducks, the steel-lighted eyes of the Ducks squad from each of their players as they jogged into the stadium was hard to ignore from even the most staunchest of Fappers fans.

In three minutes and sixteen seconds on the kick-off, the Motol Ducks marched down the field with a purpose, capped by a 14 yard pass from QB Holik to WR Zika for a touchdown and striking first blood to be up, 7-0.

Fappers attempted to answer, and moved the ball with their classic expectation, moving forward with precision, but fell short with only three complete passes and eventually forced to punt. Ducks deployed a balanced approach of runs and passing to get K Cicic in range for the go ahead fieldgoal from 33 yards out.

A bit of worry started brewing with the hometown crowd, as the Fappers attempted another response, but the stingy Ducks defense forced them to a three-and-out and they were forced to punt. Both teams defenses finished the first quarter in this fashion, and the scoreboard had the Ducks leading, 10-0.

But at the 11:50 mark in the second, the Ducks found themselves in the endzone again, with a two yard pass from QB Rowe to WR Hak to put them up 17-0. The Ducks offense seemed to not be able to be stopped, and their defense continued to hold back the relentless Fappers, and walking into halftime with another field goal and touchdown to give them the lead at 30-0.

The coaching staff may have had a good enough firey half time speech, as the Fappers came out on fire in the second half. Blasting ahead and dug in deep in the trenches, the Fappers took their first possession of the ball for 74 yards capped by a two yard dump pass from QB Martineau to a wide open TE Burke for their first score of the game, down 30-7.

With Ducks kept to a three-and-out, Fappers continued another ruthless movement for some touchdown real estate, finishing off the drive with a four yard blast from RB Ridgeway to make the score now 30-14. The Ducks weren’t yet done with the third quarter, as K Cicic again booted another field goal of 45 yards with 51 seconds left to go to make the score 33-14.

Fappers made continual attempts to get within striking range, moving the ball well and scored again at the 11:12 mark of the fourth quarter to get them within 12 points making the scoreboard read 33-21. But the stingy Motol Ducks defense would not yield, and finalized the deal with a first and goal at the four, having QB Rowe finding WR Zika wide open in the back of the endzone for a touchdown, giving the Motol Ducks the win in ToiletBowl V, 40-21.

Thanks to all teams that participated in the ToiletBowl, as well as special thanks to anyone who has participated in the past. It is an exciting thing to see interest from others to be a part of something, and the host city of Atma is very happy you all have been participants!

Congratulations Motol Ducks with your victory in ToiletBowl V!! Thank you all from the citizens of Atma City, see you in ToiletBowl VI, coming soon!

I tend to try to start sign ups a little bit before our league play-offs time, so that it starts when it starts. It's only worked out perfectly once so far, lol .

I'm going to do something different with my write-ups for the games; researching all the data, compiling it and then writing it takes a lot of time, ugh! I prefer to do it like that, but lots of work!

I think what I will do is write up the actual bowl game like I used to do with my own team's press releases; past games will be mentioned, but the focus of my article will be on the two teams in the championship.

Oh! I am toying around the idea of having 16 teams in the future, I just worry that we'll have 12 sign-ups, waiting forever for the last four; even with my sales techniques, not sure I could get that many. We'll see how it goes I guess

But yah, I try to open sign-ups a little before league play-offs begin.

Pleas send me a TM, just in case I miss the fourms. TB6 I wanna be in
