The yo-yo factor. I hear that you've really gotta hit the playbook to stay up there, at least, that's what bags told me.

I did the same : I win 3.4. in season 8, got to the bowl in 2.2. in season 9, and got crushed in season 10...

I'm looking at my schedule and I can see a playoff run in the cards, given how I'll be developing my team as fast as I do. I think the Dome Babbies have the Owl locked up, but they better get a damn playbook together so Breesus stops messing up everyone else in D2 and he stays in D1.

I see myself as getting to the CC with some good things going my way. I'm thankful I landed in an easy division.

Good game against Horadada Blues. Happy to win it considering my low TC!

Well today's game was a tale of two halves. My running game is trash as I have constantly stated, and that was put on display. The passing game went CRAZY at times, however, with two big dragons tossed for 50+ yard TDs, and of course, the best Linebacker in the league came out with three picks and two return touchdowns. I want to say it was somewhat lucky, but to an extent, I just had the right players at the right positions at the right time.

TRONQUITOS is next, this one I've gotta do some work to get ready.

Dragons 2.1. Pronos :

American Conference :

AC East :

Wittgenstein Rebels (55.0%) : 1-0
Toulouse Kingfighters (58,7%) : 1-0
Oxford Lancers (57%) : 1-0
Horadada Blues (66,4%) : 0-1

The AC East Division can be considered as the toughest of the league with two ex-1.1. teams and two other strong contenders. This division provided three teams to the playoffs last season, which are still there. The competition will be tough and it’s difficult to know who will win it. I will go with last season ranking but a lot of surprises could happen : 1. Toulouse Kingfighters ; 2. Horadada Blues ; 3. Wittgenstein Rebels ; 4. Oxford lancers.
Oxford Lancers will have a relatively good record but are, for me, too green to win against the other teams.

AC North :

Sursee Bisons (59,3%) : 1-0
Dome Babbies (63,9%) : 0-1
Noname (57,9%) : 0-1
Portsea FC (Bot) : 0-1

The AC North division is also a tough division even if with a bot there will be less competition. As an ex-1.1 and strong overall rating, I see Dome Babbies as the favorite of this division in the long run, even if they lost their first game against a division rival. I predict : 1. Dome Babbies; 2. Sursee Bisons; 3. Noname; 4. Portsea FC.
Portsea FC secures a spot in direct relegation, which could good news for some teams.

AC South :

Kennesaw Thunder (51,2%) : 1-0
Besaid Aurochs (54,9%) : 1-0
Modest Mouse (54,6%) : 1-0
Bamarammer (52,8%) : 0-1

The AC South division will be very interesting this season with three new teams. It used to be the lousiest division of the conference if not of the league. Moreover, Modest Mouse did an unexpected and impressive run in playoffs. Besaid Aurochs is coming with confidence after a 19-0 season in 3.1.. Bamarammer game against Besaid Aurochs was a surprised since despite the loss, bamarammer owned the game by yards and first downs. So I will go for : 1. Modest Mouse ; 2. Besaid Aurochs ; 3. Bamarammer ; 4. Kennesaw Thunder.

AC West :
Arizona Reapers (43,7%) : 1-0
Romanian Devil Gypsies (55,9%) : 0-1
Lafayette Mousquetaires (51,3%) : 0-1
Watery FC (47,6%) : 0-1

AC West is the weakest division of the conference. I think Romanian Devil Gypsies will win like last season but if I was them I would be wondering what are Lafayette Mousquetaires capable of.
1. Romanian Devil Gypsies; 2. Lafayette Mousquetaires; 3. Watery FC; 4. Arizona Reapers.

National Conference :

NC East :

Dog Pound (58,3%) : 1-0
Buffalo Bills (53,9%) : 1-0
Raleigh Road Runners (49,1%) : 1-0
Gase Hawks (55,8%) : 0-1

NC East division also is a division to watch. There are Dog Pound with a very good record last season (even if it was with an easy schedule) and a conference final, Buffalo Bills with a good run in playoffs last year and a good consistency. Raleigh Road Runners, after a first tough season could be a surprise and Gase Hawks was last year in competition for wild card spots until the last game of the season.
1. Dog Pound; 2. Buffalo Bills; 3. Raleigh Road Runners; 4. Gase hawks.

NC North :

SEC Porri (58,3%) : 1-0
Southern Stars (51,2%) : 0-1
Baton Rouge Scarlet Fangs (44,9%) : 0-1
Paris Giants (46,7%) : 0-1

NC North is the weakest division of the conference. SEC Porri is a good, experienced team but lack of results against strong teams. Southern Stars had a hard season last season but can do better this time. Baton Rouge Scarlet and Paris Giant, considering the force of the league will fight against relegation.
1. SEC Porri; 2. Southern Stars; 3. Paris Giant; 4. Baton Rouge Scarlet fangs

NC South :

Seattle Seahawks (56,7%) : 1-0
Fritzville Friers (52,8%) : 1-0
Minnesota Myrmidons (52,5%) : 0-1
Catedral Blackhawks (51,1%) : 0-1

NC South also is a good division with an ex-1.1., Seattle Seahawks, and other good teams. Fritzville Friers seems in better shape than last season and Minnesota Myrmidons are brilliant by their inconsistency. They can win against the strongest and lose against the weakest. Catedral Blackhawks are the weakest team of the division and could struggle against relegation.
1. Seattle Seahawks; 2. Fritzville Friers; 3.Minnesota Myrmidons; 4. Catedral Blackhawks

NC West :

TRONQUITOS (57,1%) : 1-0
QUACK ATTACK (48,4%) : 1-0
Bieberhole 69’ers (52,7%) : 0-1
Elephant Riders (bot) : 0-1

It will a surprise pocket division this season because TRONQUITOS have the strongest rating but is inconsistent, Bieberhole 69’ers is going through which seems a rebuilding with a 10 points drop in overall rating and QUACK ATTACK is a new team with no record in 2.* leagues. We will see.
1. TRONQUITOS; 2. QUACK ATTACK; 3. Bieberhole 69'ers; 4. Elephant Riders

Good explanation! I will edit that! And it's sad to lose a good team like that...

Last season standings:

Toulouse Kingfighters * 16 0

Horadada Blues y 12 4

Wittgenstein Rebels y 11 5

GRAND4 0 16

Our division is really hard. No one could promote last season. And with the Oxford Lancers there came another strong team from league 3!
I hope to make the playoffs again, but it is even more difficult than last season.
It will be a very exciting season.
So let's have a nice competition!

Since the Kingfighters did it, I figure I'll give my take on things, especially because I know more about the other D3 (primarily 3.1) teams joining us.

AC East
1st: Wittingstein Rebels (1-0; 55.0) (11-5, 3rd in S11)

The Rebels are returning from last year, and so far top the best division in the league. A strong win against a fellow 2.1 veteran indicates that they could make a run this year. With lots of weapons in the passing game, expect these guys to score a lot of points. A solid lineup on defense anchors this team, in case things don't quite work out for the offense. The one glaring weakness in this team is its offensive line, which may cause them difficulty against teams with a stronger defensive line, especially because the Rebels' system appears to favor the run game, this year.

2nd: Tolhouse Kingfighters (1-0; 58.7) (16-0, 1st in S11)

The Kingfighters are back to prove their success is not just a flash in the pan. This team has the record to show they have a strong manager, winning a truckload of matches in a short period of time. Unfortunately unable to return to D1, they are now faced with the challenge of trying to repeat their level of success from last year and exceed it. In terms of makeup and strategy, the Kingfighters look comparable to an older version of my Aurochs. Time of possession is a large part of their defensive game, and the offense looks balanced all around. The Defense appears more top-heavy, but has star players to carry the load and make plays when plays are called for. Again, record tells the story here. Perhaps more telling is their first game, a win against the Hordada Blues- a much stronger team in terms of rating.

3rd: Oxford Lancers (1-0; 57.0) (Promoted from D3.2)

The Oxford Lancers: One of the D3 virtuoso teams to now be ready for bear in D2. Last year in 3.2 was almost a carbon copy of how my team played in 3.1- it was clear that they were superior to everybody. Winning their bowl didn't even seem like a sweat. Already having a QB with significant awards to his name, the Lancers have a great passing attack that was made for the Dragons league. Defeating a team that has spent two years in D2 in their first game is their first significant accomplishment- what more could they achieve?

4th: Hordada Blues (0-1; 66.4) (12-4, 2nd in S11)
Unfortunately for the Blues, they took a tough draw in last year's playoffs. At a gaudy 66.4 rating, expectations for the Blues should be very high. The next two seasons are going to be "win everything or bust", looking at the age of the Blues' star players. It's all on the manager. The team is clearly superior- what will happen? One loss could be an omen, or it could mean nothing at all. Who knows?

AC EAST PROJECTIONS
1st. Tolhouse Kingfighters (14-2)
2nd. Oxford Lancers (12-4)
3rd. Hordada Blues (11-5)
4th. Wittingstein Rebels (9-7)

=============================================

AC North

1. Sursee Bisons (1-0; 59.3) (10-6, 2nd in S11)

The Bisons, despite having a strong team, were slighted of the playoffs due to a strong AC East division last year. This year, there will be no mistakes, or so it would seem. Having beaten the Dome Babbies already, the Bisons look to showcase their lockdown defense. These guys are not a nice team to share a division with.

2. Dome Babbies (0-1; 63.2) (Relegated from D1.1)

The Dome Babbies were rejected from 1.1 last year- because somebody has to bite the bullet. Things happen. Like the Blues, however to a lesser extent, the Babbies control their own destiny. Let's hope their manager doesn't draw playbooks like babby's first coloring book.

3. Noname (0-1; 57.9) (8-8, 3rd in S11)

This sarcastically named team has a lot to live up to. With two hard division rivals, even a bot won't help these guys. Moves may need to be made. Plans will need to be drawn. Hopefully the manager isn't as apathetic about his plans as he is about

4. BOT IS IGNORED

AC NORTH PREDICTIONS
1st. Sursee Bisons (12-4; Wins on PD)
2nd. Dome Babbies (12-4)
3rd. Noname (7-9)
4th. Bot (0-16)
==============================================

AC South

1. Kennesaw Thunder (1-0; 51.2) (Promoted from D3.2)

In a division full of upstarts, the Kennesaw Thunder are trying to separate themselves from the rest. Getting a warmup against a bot might give them the mojo (and PD) to get a successful Season 12 campaign started. One thing is certain: This team's pretty top-heavy. With a few stars on the team carrying them to such success, one would hope this formula can translate to the next level. In any other division, it would automatically be a question of, "Will they get relegated?", but thanks in part to a lucky draw, they find themselves in a division that will let the Thunder improve. Still, they will have to fight to avoid relegation, as their division rivals are all active teams with managers hungry for a big season.

2. Besaid Aurochs (1-0, 54.9) (Promoted from D3.1)

These are my boys. The team that I've worked hard on for three seasons. We won Division 3.1 handily, going 19-0, but you all knew that already, I'm sure. A developing pass attack, and a suffocating defense are in place to ensure that the Aurochs win their games. Even when the defense is off the field, the time of possession game is there to hold opponents' offenses to only a few points. If all else fails, one of the best linebackers in 2.1 is there to shake things up. (No, seriously, look at my first game). Big play is the name of the game, and the question is not if teams can stop it, but if they can hold it off. A major loss from last year is the loss of Dragons' best lineman, Derek Skinner. Moves have been made to put new guys in his place, but these new players have a lot to prove. Lots of new faces means a need to get things gelling as a team, but when that happens, look out. The QB situation is a two-headed dragon, and either one is ready to step up and play if need be. The weakness lies in the Aurochs' lack of star power. With the exception of Candido Zubizaretta and Sabril Ismail, there are no players who do a significant job of separating themselves from the pack. Season twelve will be one for the books, and if nothing else, it will be a learning experience for me and my team.

3. Modest Mouse (1-0, 54.6) (11-5, 1st in S11)

These guys were, and have been, my first rival. Judging by the rating, they are right on par with us now, maybe a little better due to the amount of experience they have. The only veteran of D2.1 in the division means they are the de-facto favorite to win this division. They play a suffocating game on defense. A dangerous opponent as the manager is very crafty.

4. bamarammer (0-1, 52.8) (Promoted from D3.2)

I have a little history with these guys. In a friendly cup match, I had been blown out by them, due to a metric ton of INTs by my main starter, Kaede Yamanoue. Personal stories aside, this team has great strategies that will really mess you up if you're not careful. They are the final upstart from division three, and will be clawing for anything they can get.

AC SOUTH PREDICTIONS
1st. Besaid Aurochs (11-5)
2nd. Modest Mouse (10-6)
3rd. bamarammer (7-9)
4th. Kennesaw Thunder (3-13)
==============================================

I will add more later, but this whole write-up took me an hour or so. It was fun.
