There will be some more common sense in it. But please accept I cannot reveal the real thresholds. However, don't worry about one or 2 injury replacements

I still don't get, what behavior is penalized.

I'm using my best ACs to train specific skills of ya-players and prospects faster. I don't see this as an exploit, since those skills are needed for the position and the AC can train it.

Now I have plenty of players in the YA at one position (where positions in general for the first few seasons don't make any sense at all), I have several prospects on one of my best or the best AC in the senior team and I do play some if not all of them in same games, like BOT games or meaningless pushover games and friendlies.

No I should get less income, because spectators don't want to see those players play? Only if they are on the depth chart? Roster? Ya-Acadamy?

I understood in the discussion that the YA-players are out of scope, but what about the seniors on the roster? Friendlies?

I have to say, that i'm totally against this, because it takes another tool away to get good players. I'm no friend of the AC-system and now it's getting worse by that change. My first reaction was, 'if that happen, I should quit', which might be childish, but pretty much shows how much that change would change the game (in my oppinion) and would therfore take the fun out of the game (for me).

It should only apply to players getting on the field, if the guy is on the depth chart only as a back-up in case of injury you shouldn't be penalized, let alone if the guy is not on the depth chart at all.

Still don't get it. Every time a backup plays out of position I get a money penalty counted by the referee and at the end of the game do the spectators get a refund of X$ from the cashier to avoid riots?

I still don't get the real problem. If it's enoying seeing such coaching behavior, change the coaching system. That would be my take.

Aehm, the discussion phase is over, and there was a decision made...by the community. So please be a little patient and check again once we come up with the final idea.

The final decision being secret makes it harder for those who argued against this suggestion as we don't really know what the penalty is for. If I have 10 young guys on my roster but not my depth chart training at DL do I get penalized? Is it 15? A clear rule would make it much easier to accept I think.

A clear rule on such a topic opens the door for "light cheating".

It is easy: if a manager is playing normal rosters, with normal positional distribution, maybe added by a few guy within their position change period, maybe added a few guys to be replacement for injured players - nothing will happen.

But if you field a roster full of DL, you will be punished.

What if I have 10 normal DL that I use for games and then 15 guys that I train as DL because my DL coach is better? The extra 15 guys could be #56 to #70 on my roster so never on the depth chart. Would that be okay?

We are not talking about the ROSTER, we are talking about the Depth Chart.

If all your QB, WR, RB and so on ON THE FIELD are out of the position DL, your fans will ignore you. The idea for the penalty doesn't care about your roster!

Awesome, that's great news Pete, I think simply clarifying that will help a lot, thanks
