This topic makes me wonder: are many of the newbies making use of the mentor program?

At the moment, I don't, because I think many information can be found in the site and forum. But maybe in the future.

Since Templer just contacted me and asked me to write in here im going to do that.

I was lately getting interreseted in AFootball and yesterday when thinking for a new game to play it came up to look for an AFootball Manager game.

The reason i choose this one was that it said you can make up your own playbooks in here, this way i hope to get more into the tactical issues of the real game, cause i will not just read about it but can (in some way) realy try it out.

And the screenshots seemed promissing, actually don't remember on which side i saw them, checked to many yesterday.

Only worried a bit that in later stages it will hardly be playable without getting a subscription account, like some other games i played lately been.
After a few weeks / month they just not been playable / manageable anymore without getting a premium account.

That's not the case here, you get no in-game advantage by being a supporter, just a few extra "cool" features and time savers here and there.

Welcome to RZA

Welcome and don't hesitate to ask questions. There's a lot to learn when you first start this game (even more now than when I first started) but the manual and forums are your friends, managers are very helpful around here.
