How did you actually found Red Zone Action?

For me it was a coincidence.
Out of boredom (and despair) I entered, without hope, "American Football Manager Simulation" in Google and found the page: Online Sport Manager Games .
The ratings were good, the comments made me curious.

So I thought „let’s give it a try.“.

Same here

Well, to me either: same here too!!

I first discovered the Goal Line Blitz, playing at WR and LB position. Later I wanted to play with something more even challenge: How to manager a football team. I was google looking and I found it the Front Office 7 and Football Mogul, but no of those I liked. Then google again, I found this Online Sport Manager Games and I give a try and I liked from no one. I hope I don`t give up this too and staying play this online system.

Let's see what happen ok.

I was googling "American Football Manager Games", and this was one of the results so I thought "why not?", and gave it a shot. Needless to say I'm not mad about the result

Google attempt # 62452059247502472409 at finding such a game after having looked at goo.gl/Xp9cf and another sim game that looked promising but didn't really stick.

Just did a search on the web and you were the first in line. Glad I found you though and you are the best out there!

Hey is there an introduction thread?

My name is Lynn and yes I'm a man, 57 years old from New Orleans, Louisiana. I was in the Marine Corps. I was a Healthcare Financial Advisor for 30 years and now semi-retired. I'm good with everyone else's money just not my own! I have 6 children and 3 grandchildren already but if my kids are anything like I was growing up I will have 36 grandchildren before I know it. I LOVE THE NEW ORLEANS SAINTS. A REAL LIFETIME FAN.

Six children! Which was more traumatic, the children or the marines?!

I would have to think about that for a second. lol I really grew to love both. Love doesn't describe what I feel for my children. The Marines taught me that really good friends are hard to find but are the best when times are hard.

Short interview with ynotsnave General Manager of the Polzeath Surfers.

How did you come up with your name and that of your team?

My manager name is my first and second names backwards. My team name comes from one of my favourite holiday destinations in Cornwall, England. I go there with my children to surf and relax in the summer and autumn.

Where are you from?

I live in a small town in the south east of England called Sevenoaks. I've pretty much lived here all my life.

How did you find RZA?

I have enjoyed the NFL since it was brought to the television in the 1980s. I have played a number of online manager simulations in the past in other sports, but previous online searches haven't revealed any NFL style games. I did another search a month or so back and signed up to another game. In chatting with another player in that game, he recommended this one. I have to say, on initial reflection, I prefer this one.

How did you first come into contact with American football?

As per my previous answer. In the mid 1980's a new TV station brought the NFL to the UK on a Sunday evening. My early thoughts were it was just people running at each other!!

Do you have a favorite team in real life?

Yes, my favourite team are the Green Bay Packers. They were one of the first two teams I watched on TV and so immediately affiliated myself with them. I had no clue what a huge dynasty they were back then. I also keep an eye on college football with an emphasis on Alabama Crimson Tide and Tennessee Volunteers. This is due to a holiday I took in the deep south back in 1997.

What do you expect from RZA?

To have a little fun and enjoyment during down times really. I have a very busy job and struggle to get down time, but I'm hoping to retire next July and to be able to relax a bit more.

What are the biggest problems with RZA?

On initial viewing that is hard to say. I haven't really had too long to have a good look around. I need some quality time to read the forums, but that will come in time. I generally stick around when I find something I enjoy.

What do you like best about RZA so far?

It seems quite in depth. There are lots of things to get involved with. It isn't all about setting the team and hoping it wins. You have the stadium construction, fanshop, HR dept, training, coaches, transfer market, economy etc and that is all before I get to read the forums.
I like the league structure. So far, there isn't too much negative to report

Can you imagine being active in the forum?

Yes I can. I have played an online soccer manager sim for the past 12 years and moderate on their forums. As long as forums are moderated properly, they can be very interesting and entertaining places!

Many thanks, Tony
