It'd be amazing if the 3rd or 4th best overall team in RZA got relegated

From what I see in the Thunder 1.1 predictions is that they are wildly off the mark. My last game rzbecko predicted me to win by 7 but I lost 65 - 21.

We see other predictions that seem off and turn out to be really different than the prediction. Last season it seemed mostly spot on.

Not b!tching about but just giving feedback. I use rzbeckos a lot to pick out interesting games to feature and rzbeckos was making this very easy to do

I would guess that beckos becomes a little bit more reliable the longer the season goes as at the start the teams that are promoted/relegated may throw it off a bit.

Yep that was a big miss. There will always be edge cases. Would you really have predicted yourself to lose by that margin? Sometimes the ring doesn't go your way, even for the Beckos.

Perception is reality I guess. Wildly off the mark? Two weeks ago the Beckos went 14-0 in thunder 1.1. Overall the success rate is higher this season than ever. But y'all are having a bit of a weird season in thunder 1.1, and yes, the number of missed games is higher in that league than it was last season. The success rate is still higher than Bova's success rate last season, and I challenge anyone to beat ithe Beckos on a consistent basis. I think he, or anyone else, would have missed more than you think this season, but we will never know, because he is the only one willing to take the time to try(at least publicly) and even he doesn't have the time now. I hope he (or anyone) is able to do it again sometime, for two very selfish reasons. One, I enjoy the competition, it spurs me on, and two, it's a great advertisement for the Beckos when they win!

Challenge will be on again next season... still got two more rooms to decorate during this season.

Though I have to say I like that you have found a way with Beckos of having a very good average of picking the winning team in matches, but no way would I ever pick the spread like your Beckos does, also I find sometimes, as you have seen in some of the old seasons, there are still match results that you have a feel will happen against normal expectations and those are the ones I like to find.

If Beckos would just adjust my rank to 200 and keep it there it would serve my street cred well.

Thank you.

Showing the spread is probably silly. I scheduled 7 scrimmages today, all with both teams using the same playbook and depth chart. Even with a situation where the teams are known to be of equal strength 4 of the 7 games were decided by 23, 27, 35 and 45. So even in pickem games there is a wide disparity from game to game. As you said, the Beckos are best over time. In any small sample size they can look bad. The game engine allows a wide range of possible results. That's why I roll my eyes whenever someone brings up a specific game as a knock on the beckos. Or even a specific week. More than half the games have a margin of error greater than 20.

Yeah, most people don't get deviation. I think it's amazing how accurately beckos predicts spreads. If you could write a program that did this for pro teams you would make bank in Vegas.
