Yeah, most people don't get deviation. I think it's amazing how accurately beckos predicts spreads. If you could write a program that did this for pro teams you would make bank in Vegas. Or on daily fantasy websites by predicting players' performances  |

What I don't get sometimes are the win projections for the season, especially the BOTs.
In my region Monarchs 1.1 are two BOTs and both have a prediction of 1 win. Prior the weekend the prediction was 0.5 for the Crusaders and 1.5 for the Devils. They played against each other last weekend and the Crusaders won, hence the 1 win for the Crusaders right now. But where should the win for the Devils come from? They are winless right now and do play only human teams in their remaining games. Even the worst team has a spread of 56 against them, so who does at the end 1 projected win happen? |

Thanks Jack, that was a bug related to the new code of finding teams that went bot in the offeseason and were picked back up by human managers without playing a game as bot. It's fixed now.

The beckos optimization is over, at least until I come up with another useful idea. Tonight's will be slightly different than the Tuesday's, but that will be it for the changes. I'd say that they will be stable for a while, but it seems every time I say that I get an idea, so I'll just say I don't anticipate any more changes. Possibly ever? We will see.
