Is there a lack of parity in the Elite league this season? Seems like there are a lot of zero and one win teams (compared to previous seasons).
I'm assuming all these teams were at one point conference champions, but maybe those 1.x leagues have fallen farther behind the Elite league over time?? Steve SD Blitz |

Congratulation on the win, Wiesengrund.
The different records in the leagues are very likely a mixture of lack of strength, lack of time/effort to prepare and probably a lot of lack of luck. And don't give too much on my-team-has-10-wins-and-yours-has-only-2 compares. There is also a scheduling component in context of Timing and on context of opponents in the Standings. For example my Region has 1 good Team, the Dragons, 1 medium Team, the Leopards, 1 not so strong, the Aliens and 1 BOT. Now it's quite clear that the 2 round Robin played divisions from the AC and the NC my Region has to Play this season will have very likey have a much better record than my Division, since the will get many wins out of our Division. Other divisions do face stronger Teams and get less win. Is my Region far away from the Overall strength, probably not all Teams, but maybe it lacks the depth. But that can only be fixed over time. Lots of Long time members did quit in our Region. |
