That's actually interesting. I still don't see it getting implemented though due to time/resources/game economy reasons. Interesting idea though.

Also a possibility would be a tournement were a Region matches up against another Region by scheduling the Maximum possible number of matchups without BOTs.
Each game does result in 1 Point given to Region 1 or 2. At the end does the Region with the most Points get into the next round. Example: Monarchs vs Dragons, Admirals vs Sea Devils and so on in round 1. Monarchs has 30 Teams non-bot in 1.1 + Elite and 50 Teams non-bot in Level 2, Dragons has 32 Teams non-bot in 1.1 and 49 Teams in Level 2. Scheduled are 30 games between 1.1+Elite totally random and 49 games in Level 2 totally random. Each win produces 1 Point. at the end we might have a score of 59:20 for Dragons and Dragons do advance to round 2. Round 2 then includes all winning regions, which are 4. Repeat until aa winner is there. Total playing effort? max 3 games for participating Teams! With 8 regions this should be easy. |

Fixed your post Drac I can't remember the last time a Dragons team won a major title. As for the idea it's pretty poor in it's current form we already have competitions where the best of the best play one another or even where all teams from all leagues can play one another so unless it's like a pro bowl competition then it's not adding anything. Hell they even let the Dragons league take part to keep the numbers rounded. |

Sea Devils is obviously the best realm. All other realms should be spared the utter embarrassment and crushing humiliation of learning this cold reality the hard way.

so, what about my approach? This would be totally different and a real Region tournament, not a Cup where 1 Team from 1 reagion wins a trophy.

Not actually a bad idea.a few questions though When in the season and where in the schedule would these be played? How do you decide team 1,2,3 etc? Becko? Rza rankings? League schedule? Maybe even a "team captain" decides the order. How many games are played per match up? This could be tough as generally the admirals and dragons leagues usually get the most participants and let's just say that all elite 1.1 and div 2 teams play is 100 teams. If the dragons league has all the divisions full and another league only has 75% participation does that mean the dragons league starts with a 25 game lead?
