so, what about my approach? This would be totally different and a real Region tournament, not a Cup where 1 Team from 1 reagion wins a trophy. Not actually a bad idea.a few questions though When in the season and where in the schedule would these be played? How do you decide team 1,2,3 etc? Becko? Rza rankings? League schedule? Maybe even a "team captain" decides the order. How many games are played per match up? This could be tough as generally the admirals and dragons leagues usually get the most participants and let's just say that all elite 1.1 and div 2 teams play is 100 teams. If the dragons league has all the divisions full and another league only has 75% participation does that mean the dragons league starts with a 25 game lead? I agree it's not a bad idea, but when you come to the div 2 teams that is going to especially be a problem for regions like Thunder where there is a 90% drop rate of Newbies who do not even complete the Managers Licence. So for Thunder to win any Inter-Region matches you would have to ignore matches against Bots and newbie teams that have not completed their managers Licence. |

True but to have everyone involved just wouldn't work due to the drop rate of some leagues. To exclude new teams wouldn't be fair either but you can't give a populated league a 20+ head start because it's a populated league.
Nice idea in theory but would never work in practise and that's before the scheduling. I think I saw the charging credits but would anyone be happy being charged credits for a competition they didn't sign up for? |

If the dragons league has all the divisions full and another league only has 75% participation does that mean the dragons league starts with a 25 game lead? The amount of Teams is irrelevant since this is more of a Davis-Cup-like-Approach and the number of Teams are only relevant for the matchup round itself, not for the result of the round. The matchups might be just 10 Teams against each other for 1 round, or all Teams, the result would be, that 1 Region wins and advances to the next round. Scheduling is a nice idea, but since this are just 3 games, I would pick 3 fridays before CoC starts. Which Teams do Play is a good question and I would suggest to allow for scheduling only Teams with a licence and Minimum being a member for 1 month. That should sort out most Teams near bot Status. Regarding the matchups itself my Approach was to schedule the Minimum of possible games, based on the Team numbers you get with the rule above. Worst case would be, that if one league is almost empty and the other is 100% full, you get only a few games. If all are full, you get Overall 100 games. Remember I suggested to pair 1.1+Elite against 1.1+Elite and Level 2 against Level 2. Overall there should be only a odd number of games, to avoid tie breaker rules. |

I think we should have a massive tournament every season where the leagues play each other to find out who has the strongest league and of course it could only be 1.1 leagues due to amount of players in leagues would be cool

There is a tournament where each region is sending its best players to. They have one full season to rumble, and to determine who is the best out of them. We call it Elite

We had kind of a monster friendly cup a few seasons ago. And a trophy was awarded, sent to the winner. He shot photos when he received it
