For improving our finances, do you think it's better to be in contract mode or stay in classic mode ?

Once you have a more settled squad and have got rid of the initial players you don't need - contract mode - all the way.

Only put the guys on franchise contracts that you really want to keep for the long haul and have a high skill set. On contract mode for one add'l season you can get everyone to sign for 90% of what they are asking. On the franchise contract they will ask for more than they are currently earning but if you take a guy from 35 to 45-50 range you are getting a long term bargain. |

I already reached the goal for this season, which was to go back to the Elite league and to play in the CoC next season. Nobody nows, if I will play for 20 more seasons after my team will be beaten up next season. |

Contract mode is too much work. You can totally save money with it, but i'm not a fan of the extra work involved. Too tedious for me.

It is. But can also be less money consuming if you pay attention from time to time.
I switched to contracts about two seasons ago, it is initially time-wasting but I think affordable in long term. |

What do you mean by "extra work" ? Can somebody post or send me by MP some screenshots from the contract mode ?
I really want to improve my team to the next level now and without more money it's not possible.  |
