Is there a Penalty involved in the wage negotiation process, when you lower a guys salary? will he be more inclined to say no, if the new deal offers less Money? Because that Situation will happen quite a bit after the next update, and so I was wondering if we should adjust our negotiation tactics...

It means, unless his two highest skills are exactly the same, he'll initially ask for less money than he would have before the change. He won't be asking for the same but being offered less.

That is a halfway point between what we have and what you are proposing. If it works out well, you can always go one more step to 1/2 highest + 1/2 2nd highest. The above formula will still let one stat monsters hurt a person in the salary calculation, but help prevent stupid training errors from financially ruining the team. Hamakto |

As far as I can see this hasnt been implemented?
Not yet at least, I wanted to resign a few players to slightly lower contracts. But the initial contract offer from my players are exactly the same as the old contracts. I expect it will be sorted before the rollover is finished? |

It is online, the news is online as well. And it works, since I used my own team to double-check if everything is in place, and was able to reduce my payroll by around 10% for the wages...as expected!

My bad, you are correct! ... I just have way too many balanced players!.. I did sign a few players based on this post though - the main one decided to retire so now i cant change his contract
