AC East has the Fraggles on top as expected but by only one game. The QB shuffle they are going through this season makes not only their trip back to elite in question but also the division title. Wild Thangs and upstart Pirates are on their heels just one game back. Thangs has already beat the Fraggles and has one more match up with them while the Pirates have 2. These head to heads should determine who comes out on top. Steelers could play spoilers and if they hadn't beat Pirates in OT the Pirates would be tied with the Fraggles.

AC North doesn't have the tight race the East has. Divers in full control can have the division clinched as soon as the end of this weekend. Squales of Beach has shown the ability to beat quality teams now can they find some consistency? Prague Lions are having a nice rookie season and should find themselves safe from relegation. Last year's divisional champ is scrambling and looking for their first win.

AC South is down to a two team race. True Winners had been knocking on the door the last several seasons and with Xu Da in rebuild mode looked poised for an easy road to finally climb that mountain top. Not so fast though as the vastly improved Vile Vikings are right behind them. The Vikings barely escaping last season relegation has a shot at the division just 1 game back of True Winners.

AC West has Narann making plans for Elite next season. With the inside road to the number 1 seed they have a perfect 8-0 record. The one team with a shot at catching Narann are the Cardinals but Cards will need to win out and get some help from opponents playing Narann. Horses and Flegers are quality teams that probably don't have to worry about relegation but have some improving to do to play with the Cards and Narann.

Stay tuned for our NC mid-season report...

NC East Die Verdammten as expected has a commanding 3 game lead and is the only undefeated team in NC. They look ready for the playoffs. The Wolfe Pack has a legit shot at a wild card. Sitting at 5-3 this overachieving team is having a very successful rookie campaign. 深圳合续 is 3-6 but only -4 in PD and probably won't have to worry about relegation. The Browns at 1-7 have their work cut out to avoid going down a level.

NC North is weak. There is no other way to say it. What do the Steelers, Fledgers, and Basterds have in common? They are in last place in their division but would be in first in this one. Alligators work under 400k player salary, Lionwings aren't very active, and Skyhawks appear poised to win in Thunder 2.2 next season. None of these 3 are rookie managers and none are making moves to win the division. One game back of the lead is Bison City Nightcrew. This is a rookie manager. With continued improvement they can win this division and make big profit off a home playoff game.

NC South is the opposite of the North. All 4 teams are worthy of a playoff spot. All 4 very active and making moves to improve. Basterds are 2 games back are getting into must win territory if they want to keep pace. Deflators, Patriots, and Bogan Galaxy all within a game of each other are in one hell of a battle. Galaxy has the best offense in the division but also the weakest defense. Patriots have been there before and the Deflators or the hottest currently. It's a jump ball as to who takes this division.

NC West Hucknal Broncos are in clear control of this division. At 7-1 with the only blemish coming from a MOTY from Bogan Galaxy the Broncos appear ready for the playoffs. Cheese is having a strong rookie season and should be safe from relegation while the Knights need to win some to feel safe.

Great work once again by thomastem! Really enjoyable to read as well.

But re this:

Ouch! I did get some CBs and behind the scenes in the back office there is a lot of training going on with the help of an experienced manager who wants to remain anonymous. But yes, I am definitely taking the long term approach of slow building, that much is true.

The report card is for this season not for long term. There is no way I can write a positive review when the division leader is on pace for a total of 6 wins. The last place team is winless giving each other team in the division 2 wins. Take the Skyhawks out and the division gets won by 4-5 wins this season.

You could get that by stacking 4 bots in a division.

Again for a realistic review I have to call it like I see it. I could have made light if it were 4 rookie managers but it's not. Think of the bright side, I've given you billboard material to motivate the players.

Haha true that.

And it's true of course that any NC North team would struggle in most other divisions. It is also true that I was hoping to progress quicker than I am currently progressing at in terms of the number of games I've won.

But it makes for an compelling season, that any team can still win the division. Not good, compelling

But I love these series you are writing and take everything my stride. I just tell my players that haters are gonna hate

Absolutely. If you lose to Bogan Galaxy you fall 3 games behind and looking up at 3 teams. You need to win to stay in contention. Patriots and Deflators is also huge. A Deflator victory pts Patriots back 2 games looking up at 2.

Must win for you, almost must win for Patriots.

I'll try - unfortunately not much time for scouting and adabting the playbook...
