I was keeping an eye on this game too, this makes me fear Asps a bit more. Fire 1.1 is getting much stronger which is very enjoyable. According to Becko our top 12 teams make us the 3rd best 1.1 league, slightly behind Admirals 1.1 - There are easily 8 or 9 teams that could make the playoffs in the AC so the battle will be fun to follow. In the NC there are 6 clear favorites for the PO but surprises can happen, the Machine and Lightning could push for a WC spot as both teams are improving.

huhh (not the Iceland one) yes the game was quite close.. good game from asps.
the 4th down late in the 4th qtr was the game decider. so now the race for the Play off spot will be very hard. |

Some great games in progress today. Knights vs Eagles and Lions vs Farmers probably the picks of the bunch, both going down to the wire. Gamecocks giving it their all vs Destroyers. Mutineers giving the Lightning a headstart and trying to run them down. Mean Machine vs Crimson Tide as well as Beers vs Ravens with numerous lead changes. Jugones and Cowboys duking it out in a thus-far defensive battle.

Yeah I clearly underestimated the Knights and rested too many of my starters against him... As the game was going on it reminded me a lot of season 20 when you kicked my ass because I did the same thing. Gotta stop trying to give so much playing time to my backups!

WOW1...my stadium goal posts are down and I'm doing backflips down my football field. The 0 wins is finally gone..:
Defense won that. DJ's defense and game plan was awesome and it went to the wire where I got lucky with .49 left in the game after my kicker missed a field goal his missed also. Good game DJ |
