 Source: http://i.imgur.com/PIJqeGP.jpg This should be a close game with Beckos predicting a 3 point win for Wolfings. Wolfings are in their maiden season in Thunder 1:1 and are currently 0-5. Ville Vikings are seasoned performers in 1:1 and are leading their division even though they are currently 2-4. Good luck to both for this much anticipated game. |

We have been in touch with Wolfing's headcoach who had these answers for our intrepid reporter.
Question 1. Last season in Thunder 2:1 you finished with a 16-0 record, so far this season you are at 0-5. Has the step-up to Thunder 1:1 been what you were expecting? Injuries are rising and moral falling but Wolflings are hungry for a first victory in Thunder 1.1. Question 2. So far this season you've lost a couple of games by fairly narrow margins. Are you confident that your team has a the talent to avoid relegation? Much depends on quarterback Baert who can no longer share the load with Cohen due to injury. Question 3. What do you think the key deciding factor in this game will be? Its time for the underdog to have its day! |

Question 1 Last season you won your division with a 7-9 record, this season you're leading your division with a 2-4 record, how confident are you of winning your division again? I think we are in with a shout, we are a young team in the early stages of development. We had short term financial problems that cost us our two best defensive players this offseason along with our punter. However make no mistake we will be competitive in the division despite our being early in our development, and our academy will be providing upgrades every season now and these are going to ply to get experienced faster than many more established teams, it's a work in progress but overall we aim to improve with every year Question 2 Having now spent a few seasons in Thunder 1:1 how do think you're teams progressing? This is my third season, I got here without learning anything so started from scratch in my first season in Thunder 1.1. We know now what we want from our YA. We know what we want from the Transfer market and a good idea of value and of purchases that compliment our philosophy which is youth. This isn't a short term strategy and it won't produce short term results. We aim in 5-7 seasons to be competing for league titles, there will be short term pain however. Question 3 What do you think the key deciding factor in this game will be? Which of the owners has best prepared his teams strategy and who's team can beat execute that strategy. |
