Welcome back to the weekly RZA show that keeps getting more and more interesting the closer we get to the end of the season.
The AC East remains one of the most intruiging divisions in Thunder 1.1. This week a head-on-head clash for a wild card spot. Both at 10-4 and with LM Pirates barely defeating Wild Thangs earlier in the season this promises to be a mouth watering tie indeed. What are your thoughts on who will win this winner gets all contest? |

This will be a really hard game i guess. The winning team makes a big step to the Wildcard the losing one not.. i am really not sure who's gonna make this but i see Wild Thangs in advantage here, they have my vote

I'm going for Pirates, they've won the last three meetings and have home advantage. Either way this game is pivotal and could be another classic.

Question 1. You have managed to close the gap this season on the Wild Thangs and even beat them at their place earlier in the season. How bad would it be to miss out on 2nd place in the AC East this season? Well, not really bad, I am preparing specially for next season, when I hope to be a really competitive team. Also, I have been on a holiday-like mode for a couple of weeks, so there have been bad results that should have been better. And even if I win I have a really tough game last week! Question 2. How do you prepare for a game like this? Ask me next season if I am in the same situation hahaha. I spend the same amount of time preparing all my season games (unless I'm on holiday), to be honest. Question 3. What do you think the key deciding factor in this game will be? I guess it might be luck, we are really close to each other. |

Stizz answered as well and here are his replies. Always nice for the editors of GOTW when both managers reply. Great work Fijer and stizz!
Question 1. The AC East has always been a hot division and the temperature just keeps on going up. Do you feel the pressure? I must be, since I somehow thought I had a game against LM Pirates!  But the answer is no pressure, it's just a game about playing games. 
EDITOR NOTE: the intro to the question referred to a game against the Fraggles. Clearly the long season is having an effect on the GOTW team as well! Question 2. What would missing out on the play offs mean to you? Would there be any repurcussions for players or staff? Missing the playoffs this season would possibly cause me to focus harder next season, but I am happy with my team and staff. I may have become too comfortable in my regular position as "Bridesmaid". Question 3. What do you think the key deciding factor in this game will be? I have no idea! But Fijer always plays well, and usually beats me... |

I somehow found myself awake at 2:00 am, and watched the game live. We got off to a good starts, but you did a great job controlling the game! Maybe it's time for me to review my playbook... Best of luck in the playooffs! |
