Especially since the terminology used in all the other runs as well, refer to the offense, not the defense. ie. run over C, run over LG, run over RT, etc. that makes sense, thx! |

I'm still wondering how Teamwork really works ingame and how big its impact on the OL-performance might be. does the collective TW of the line just get summed up? or does it matter where the TW is positioned - for example does it only come into effect for the G next to OT on a run over the end? and do players need high TW to receive help too, not just to support their colleagues? and is there something like a block roll - i.e. that when a C can deal with the NT on his own, the Gs are free to support the OTs? any ideas

I'm pretty sure Pete said that TW makes linemen help the 2 guys next to them only so I don't think it's a collective TW calculation. I think it depends on how many DL your OL is facing. If you face 5DL each OL blocks the guy in front of him. If you face 4DL each of the OT and OG will face a DT/DE. The Center's TW will determine how much he helps the OG next to him. If you face 3DL then each OG's TW will determine how much they help the OT or C next to them. That's all I know and I'm not even 100% sure of it |

It would be nice to know whether the OL player who supports another player is also receiving support.
i.e.: If an OT gets supported by the OG, does this OG also receive help from the OC on the same play? Because otherwise the OC would be completely useless as long as you don't use rush mid. |

I don't know this "Pete", and I have no idea about how it works, but I guess the calculation could be something like Tw of OT OG OC OG OT 5 5 5 5 5 Effective Tw OT OG OC OG OT 7.5 10 10 10 7.5 The left OT has 5 from his own TW, and the half from his right side. The left Guard has 5 on his own, 2.5 from the Tackle, and 2.5 from the Center. If this would be right - and remember, I have no idea... - it could be very well that even on OTs high TW makes a little sense. On the other side...I heard no single comment in real life games where the comment was like "Uh, watch this block, must be high teamwork skill..." |

I did not want to imply that TW makes no sense on OT, but my idea of how this works was very wrong |

Are you sure that the TW skill comes only into play for DL if they beat their opponent in the OL? I have no information about that, but I think it's also possible that it becomes active once the play starts, so that every DL player is already boosted before the block calculation starts. |
