It was implemented on Yahoo couple of seasons ago, I didn't check if similar option exists on NFL (since this is only league I play there
).
Anyway, Free Agent Acquisition Budgets (FAAB) waiver system means you have season budget of (virtual) 100$. You can spend any of that money on any player during waivers, meaning that highest bid is taking away the player from waiver wire. In case there are multiple bids for same player, regular waiver order is used as tiebreaker. After that, money is deducted from winning team only. Example: Team 1, bids 10$, waiver priority 5 Team 2, bids 5$, waiver priority 2 Team 1 gets the player, 10$ deducted from budget of Team 1 Team 1, bids 10$, waiver priority 5 Team 2, bids 10$, waiver priority 2 Team 2 gets the player, 10$ deducted from budget of Team 2 Edit: NFL WAB It's called WAB here Last edited on 2017-08-08 08:32:16 by ulero |
