So this thread was born out of the Idea that we have the pretty awesome Predictions and why shouldnt we take a look how it went and compare the Standings. So you can compare the Prediction and the Outcome easier in this Thread. Have Fun hope you see yourself climbing up and flying over the Predictions:


Bova's AC East predicition before the Season:

Last season SimKonville Fraggles won the division on the basis of losing the least non-divisional game, but lost to Wild Thangs twice. WildThangs lost one more non-divisional game than Fraggles, but lost to LM Pirates twice. LM Pirates surprised everybody and except for a couple of silly losses they could have ran the other two close.
I expect this to be even closer this season, maybe only a one game break between the three of them.
As to the Pittsburgh Steelers they have to take what they can from where they can and hopefully close the gap on the others while staying away from the relegation zone.

Outcome after the Season:
What a good prediciton as we can see every place is right.
Even the Wild Thangs lost twice again to Pirates, they were able to take the 2nd place and the Wildcard with a better PD, so this was actually pretty close between both teams.. Simkonville Fraggles got a good leed and the Divison Crown. Pittsburg Steelers werent able to attack the other teams.

Cheesi's AC North Predictions before the season:

Divers dominated this division last season and Budapest Wolves will do the same this season. SQUALES will hope to achieve a winning record but with no transfer activity it's hard to see a sudden improvement and a regression seems likely. UNTOUCHABLES have invested heavily in the transfer market and for a new team in 1.1 have already an expensive coaching staff. It'll be interesting how they'll perform as the season goes on. Wolflings on the other hand have not spend a single dollar since their promotion and not a lot can be expected from them in their first season in this league as they go on the slow and grow approach.

Outcome after the Season:
Also Cheesehead knew how the Season will and like he told us the Budapest Wolves dominated the Division. Squales achieved good 2nd Place. Untouchables are working on their Team to start a attack for the Divison crown in the next season, they showed their potentioal winning against Budapest Wolves in the 3rd game of the Season. Wolfings as predict far behind, they need more time.

Passion's AC South Predicitions before the Season:

With Xu Da Rebuilding this division is so unpredictable. true winners home on paper should be taking the division, but made hard work of it in season 21, however I expect them to be taking the division this season.
Ville Vikings lacks an offence but got enough out of there team last season to compete for the division spot. The Vikings defence is the strongest in the division so do not underestimate this side to be pushing once again.
Xu Da is rebuilding and ended up with a shock 6-10 losing record in season 21. Only time will tell how this side will fair this season and the other teams in this division will be hoping they don’t return to there dominant winning ways.
Premolo 69ers returns to 1.1 after they got relegated in season 20. Premolo will need to make sure they have enough about them to make sure they don’t get relegated again, This season will be another tough one for them.

1. True winners home
2. Ville Vikings
3. Xu Da
4. Premolo 69ers

Outcome after the Season:
So here the Predicition was totally destroyed. True winners home couldnt fill the expectations and had a bad season. Villie Vikings took their predicited place with a solide power for the Division. Premolo 69ers went BOT after a weak season. Xu Da didnt care of the announced rebuilding Season and took the Division Title!

Lets look at Jetto's AC West predicitions

Bovakian dominated last season managing a perfect 16-0 record and I couldn’t find any big issues for him after last season. So I’m going with Bova for the division again.
The Cardinals won the the division only 1 season ago but sold and lost a few players during offseason – hopefully their younger ones can make up the next step.
Both Parma Horses and Flerschem Fliegers are improving and learning after 1 and 2 seasons of experiance here. If the Cardinals are struggling maybe they can steal one or the other game but I don’t see them fighting with Bovakian for the division crown.

AC West Predictions:

1. Inbhir Narann
2. Severnside Cardinals
3. Parma Horses
4. Flerschem Flieger

Season outcome:
Jetto got 2of4 predictions right. As he was expecting Bova lead the Division and took the Title but he wasnt that far ahead as expected. Severnside Cardinals dropped cause of their Rebuilding phase but showed with a win over Bova they will surely come back. Parma Horses where looking to take the second place but lost twice against Flieger.
Flerschem Flieger got an unexpected grow taking a good record after to negative Season, crowned with the 2nd Place.

Another Prediction on NC East by cheesi's looked like this:

The first league game will decide if Die Verdammten will have another 16-0 season when they face the Fraggles. With no activity on the transfer market The Wolfe Pack will only marginally improve but will easily retain the number two spot. Toledo Tigers will be hoping to improve on the three wins last season and with an expensive coaching staff and fully built stadium he seems to be on the right path. They might be able to overtake 续 深圳合续 who have little money invested in either squad or staff and it will be hard for them to improve on the four wins of last season.

Season outcome:
Wow totally as cheesi predicted Die Verdammten just lost 1game against the Fraggles. The Wolfe Pack and 续 深圳合续 gone bot, nothing to add. Toledo Tigers took advantage of this and played a solide season.

So lets take a look on another prediction of Jetto on NC North:

Well, I’m going with the Alligators here because he is the most experienced one. But actually NC North could be really funny to whatch as all 4 of them are pretty close and the inter-conference games could be either way depending maybe only on home field or details.
Of course Dynamite and Swifts still have to learn a lot but it is not impossible that they will manage to win some games against Alligators and Nightcrew

NC North Predictions:

2. Nightcrew
3. Swifts
4. Dynamite

Season outcome:
Jetto got 4/4 predictions well done. And as he mentioned it was a close the Division. Alligatoars let no one out of Division win against him.
Bison City Nightcrew got a strong season and it seems they will attack Chees'is Team soon. Shrophsire Swifts tried their best and played a good season even if they couldnt reach the positive record.

Lets go for some passionated predicitions in NC South

Vienna Falcons once again find themselves back in Thunder 1.1 after narrowly getting relegated last season, same old Vienna same old prediction. I expect they will be promoted once again battling it out with Die Verdammten and SimKonville Fraggles for the Bowl.
Beyond Vienna Falcons Totoras Patriots and Bogan galaxy will be fighting it out for 2nd place. Both have very good sides and are progressing well. Totoras Patriots, however are the better of the two sides and would usually be favourite, but with Bogan Galaxy taking the division last season this will be a very interesting division to watch.
Basterds are a side still progressing in 1.1 and it will be interesting to see how much difference the off season has made to the franchise and how much better they have got. I expect this team to make it difficult for the others but as things stand the others teams in the division still have a bit to much for them.

1. Vienna Falcons
2. Bogan Galaxy
3. Totoras Patriots
4. Basterds

Season outcome:
So taking a look after the Season, we can notice that 2/4 picks were right. Vienna Falcons went for another perfect Season crowned with the Title. Bogal Galaxy werent able to continue they strong gameplay and sadly become but at the End of the Season. Totorias Patriots played a solide season with a good record, showing that you should have them on your list. Totally surprising this Season began the Rise of jetto's Basterds he climbed to the second place with a strong record and crowned hisself with a Wildcard.

There came back Bova for the last Division NC West:

Hucknall Broncos have now got this division nailed and unless something surprising happens with one of the other three, there will be no change in the divisional title winner.
Salt'n'Pepper Lueneburg took an extra season at level 2 to be sure of being strong enough to compete at this level, I say watch out they could be the dark horses much like Divers were last season.
Chesterton Cheese will find it harder to secure second spot with the arrival of Salt'n'Pepper, but they should be strong enough to stay clear of the relegation zone.
Newcastle Knights have to continue to strengthen and develop in order to close the gap of the stronger teams and become more competative.

NC West Position Prediction
1. Hucknall Broncos
2. Salt'n'Pepper Lueneburg
3. Chesterton Cheese
4. Newcastle Knights

Season outcome:
Bova's expectations to Hucknall Broncos were right as they showed a strong season and took their title as predicted. Sadly the prediciton about Salt'n'Pepper had no chance after he went bot in Week 2 i guess.
Chesterton Cheese profite from this and made a statement in the Division taking the 2nd Place with a good record. Newcastle Knight are still on their way of progress and need time.

The all-predictions for AC and NC will be finished after the Playoffs, when we can announce who made his way to elite.

Good to see the predictions worked out in general. Shame that we lost so many teams this season, it will be interesting to see how much of an impact that has on next seasons predictions.

Xu Da, Flerschem Flieger and Basterds seem to be the over-achievers this season. I wonder if they will repeat this next season in Thunder 1:1 assuming (possibly unwisely) that neither Basterds or Flerschem Flieger make it into Elite.

I suppose the worst prediction was True Winners Home to win AC South, finishing 1-15 with there only win coming against a Bot, hopefully they will return with a stronger performance soon.

I made this graph which the difference in the ranking in rzbeckos after the first league game of season 22 and the last game of the play-offs that were just played. This was an idea from eiskomitee as well but he did all the hard work of writing the reviews and I just made this graph Also planning to do one with percentile change to see if that gives a fairer picture (probably not).

From Jetto we got this for AC:
AC Prediction:
AC Conference saw the Divers promote to Elite League last year and Budapest Wolves coming down with only one win in Elite League. But actually I think they are all in all a good team and they are again fighting for winning the conference again.
At the moment I would bet on Bovakian’s Narann and Fraggles with Wolves and Thangs being the closest to them. Teams like Cardinals, true winners home, Pirates, Xu Da, SQUALES, Steelers are also in the mix fighting for the playoffs – that’s gonna be very interesting.

Look on this AC-Predicition:
Narann,Fraggles,Wolves, Xu Da (with division Title) and Thangs went to the Playoffs like jetto told us. He got a good eye on this teams.
Instead of Cardinals, TWH,Pirates,SQUALES and Steelers we got Flerschem Flieger in the Playoffs who suprisingly made it to the Bowl-Game. Except of this Underdog-action jetto was able to announce a good Predicition.

NC Conference
I cannot see past Vienna Falcons as the NC's representatives in Thunder Bowl 22, it is up to the others like Die Verdammten, Totoras Patriots and Hucknall Broncos to prove that there are other teams that can represent Thunder in the Elite League.

Overall Vienna Falcons are clear favourites for this season's bowl and obviously with three very strong Austrian teams the likelihood of two of them in the bowl has fairly short odds, but that doesn't mean the rest of us will lay down quietly and let that happen.

Outcome in NC: As Bova told us Vienna Falcons dominated the league and will go to Elite League with another Bowl-Title. Die Verdammten, Hucknall Broncos, Amersfoort Alligatoars made their way to the Playoffs with a Division Title. For the Wildcard we got Bison City Nightcrew and Basterds. Most surprise in NC was Jetto he made a huge step in Thunder and went to the Conference Championship game. Well done.
