Ok guys Bova always organizes this for us but he has RL things going on right now. We can keep the tradition going for a season when for him and the league. i am going to write up AC East shortly and get it on today. Volunteers please pick a division that you are not in at get your write up ready as we will go down the divisions as listed on the league page. Bova has a thread where he is tracking records, so rather than duplicate that and make this a little less time consuming I'm going to list teams and go right into write up.

Show starting soon.

AC East

LM Pirates

The Pirates come off back to back seasons where they just missed the playoffs. They have played wekk against division rival Wild Thangs but not so much against the Fraggles. As we should see the pirates compete again for a playoff spot it looks like they will need a big TM purchase or two to have a real shot at the division tittle.

Pittsburgh Steelers

The Steelers have a veteran manager that has been here since season 6. They have been mired in rebuilding since season 12 and find themselves in one of the toughest divisions. At times other Thunder owners have worried that this team will go bot as logins have been infrequent. I think I speak for all owners when I say we hope that real life allows you the time and some passion reignites for RZA.

SimKonville Fraggles

The Fraggles have a veteran owner that has won this division the last two seasons. They have strong talent on both sides of the ball and the game planning at times is excellent. If not for being unlucky in the championship game the last two seasons this team is in Elite. The class of the division though Wild Thangs plays them very tough.

Wild Thangs

Another veteran owner who seems to save his best for the Fraggles. How many more speed bumps do they have to hit with the Pirates before the Thangs turn it up on them? This team is in the playoffs each year and once again look to compete for the division. plus Jimi Hendricks rocks.

Analysis:

Simkon comes in as the favorite to win the division with Wild Thangs giving them headaches and taking second and a wild card. Pirates in third hoping to sneak into the playoofs unless the make a big purchase or two. Steelers coming in last but should be strong enough not to relegate.

1. Fraggles
2. Wild Thangs
3. Pirates
4. Steelers

Coming next is AC North, this program has been brought to you by...

What division do you want to write up? If you post that then others know and we won't duplicate. just give a heads up on the division you are taking. The leftovers we'll do the same and some volunteers will end up with 2 divisions.

We can do this with a little communication.

I'll do AC North, I should have it done in about half an hour, I'm quite happy to do another but I maybe unavailable until Friday 22.00 UTC and shouldn't do NC West as I'm in it!

AC North

Budapest Wolves

The Wolves will be fighting strongly for a place in elite once more. After dominating this division last season they look certain to retain the division title once more. There training schedule does mean that most players effectively play out of position but after finishing with a 13-3 record last season it looks as though this plan doesn't diminish their performances, although their unexpected home loss in the Wildcard game will be a cause for concern. Despite their manager having joined in season 1, Budapest have the distinction of only ever buying one player (now retired). Their current roster is therefore made up of drafts and home-grown talent.

The SQUALES of Beach

The SQUALES finished last season 8-8, they will be looking for an improvement and should be able to pull off a couple more wins with a little luck. A season trying to claim a wildcard place looks likely but ultimately will probably just out of reach for an improving team. They should finish a safe second.

UNTOUCHABLES

UNTOUCHABLES finished last season with a 7-9 record. This season it looks like they may struggle to match that performance. There are hopes that along with there draftees, a couple of recent signings and a few youth promotions may help to keep the team fighting for second place but it looks like a battle to avoid bottom place is more likely.

Wolflings

Wolfings finished last season with a 2-14 record. This should be improved upon without too much trouble. Like UNTOUCHABLES it looks like newly acquired players will be the key. Expect to see a significant improvement to the meagre 2 wins of last season, but ultimately no change in finishing position in the table.

Analysis:

Wolves seem almost certain to win the division again, possibly even more easily than last season. Squales should finish second and I can see them distancing themselves from UNTOUCHABLES. If UNTOUCHABLE manage to win 7 league games again, they should see the season as a massive success, realistically 5 maybe more achievable. Wolfings will probably remain rooted to the bottom of the division again, but may well double their wins this coming season. Ultimately, expect little variation on the theme of last season, same placings only the amount of wins may change.

1. Budapest Wolves
2. The SQUALES of Beach
3. UNTOUCHABLES
4. Wolflings
