Both teams have started 0-1 and for both it's a good opportunity to get the first win under their belt.

Our beat writer has just phoned in this really entertaining interview from Shropshire!
Question 1. Realistically this is one of the few games you might expect to win this season. How important is this game for the you, the franchise and the players? Realistically I hit a wall in the middle of last season, I've been promoted via bot flush and slowly improving the side by using the transfer market. Without a solid playbook it's going to be a very long season and though the fans never like to see their team loose they know that the Swifts roster will endeavour to the end of every single game. The playbook was my number one priority during the close season but unfortunately I have neglected that aspect of the game. The right players have not yet appeared on the market certainly none for value for money. So this season is going to be put down to experience and managing expectation - Emanuel Ely has been solid yet unspectacular so I'm going to start 19 year old rookie Barry Ingram and be brave and open my playbook for the first time since I started the game over the coming days. Question 2. Your kicker missed 2 FG's last week. Is this something that concerns you? Will he be benched? We're onto Andorre Solutions...Come on guys! (Best Belichick sneer) Cheesehead I expect better from you! Do I really need to answer this question? (Big sigh) As regards to Dorian Malone (K) we've spoken...we're onto Andorre Solutions...we cannot affect the past. Question 3. What do you think the key deciding factor in this game will be? We're the masters of our outcome - we have a talented roster of players that will be added to over the next couple of weeks our Pass defence certainly has the basis of being one of the more competitive defences in the league it's whether we can break down the Andorre Solutions defence consistently and constructively - we have to get the ball to Ignazio Simoni and let him do his thing. |
