Hello all and welcome back to another ediiton of the Game of the Week show. This week we have guest analyst smokerteer on the show who gives his opinion of the game that will be featured this week: Steelers @ Ville Vikings.

smokerteer wrote:
Steelers need two more wins to be assured of staying in the league. This is the second most likely game left where they can get a win. In fact they have yet to lose to one of the weaker teams so Wolfings will have a game on their hands. This isn't a must win to stay up but if they do win this they will stay up.
Wolfings need just one more win to be assured of staying in the league. Like Steelers this isn't a must win as victory is guaranteed for them in the game after. These are two teams that are merely hoping to survive the season, I think both will. This game looks like a close one to me with the Steelers edging this.

Prediction: Steelers 22 Wolflings 16

And here's the first interview with the ever so friendly wolfing:

Question 1.
Some fans are worried about your financial situation as you gave Chesteron Cheese a lot of money recently when you bought 8 (!) players from him. Was that grabbing an opportunity when you saw one or was the money there to be spent.

There is still $96m in the kitty so no financial stress yet. The Chesterton Cheese players were exactly what I was looking for. I am happy to have picked them up and would have paid a lot more.

Question 2.
QB Brendon Farrington's ball security has a lot better than your other QB. Will that warrant a change in your decision who will play this game or will you leave things unchanged?

You make a good point. I have been using both QBs but given the number of intercepts this season it might be time for a change.

Question 3.
What do you think the key deciding factor in this game will be?

Hopefully the 8 Chesterton Cheese recruits have bolstered the team enough to have a fighting chance.

And here's a very honest interview with jrm527:

Question 1.
Every first season for a rookie is a struggle and for you it's the same. Did you anticipate having to fight for your place in Thunder 1.1 as it seems you already went all in in terms of salary for players and coaches. Or is a possible relegation not a setback but part of a larger plan?

I definitely am looking to stay in 1.1, I am enjoying the challenge of playing tough competition instead of bots. as for my financial situation I've probably put more into veteran players than I should have including 31yr old Samir Fras who's making a 263k salary, but I felt the need for some short term talent. I could also trim some fat from my roster as I've kind of been hoarding players for example I have 7 RBs earning a combined 324k.

Question 2.
You have played 4 QBs in your games so far but stats show Mihály Szerencsés is far superior than the other three. What is the reasoning behind this?

He is playing better than what his stats say he should ... or ... my other QBs are underperforming. I'm hoping my newest and oldest QB, Fras, will get better as his team chemistry improves.

Question 3.
What do you think the key deciding factor in this game will be?

If my Oline can pick up some blocks and my defense causes more turnovers than my offense we might have a chance. But on paper we are the weaker team, and as smokerteer pointed out last week we don't do well as the underdog
