Hello all and welcome back to the definitive RZA Football show on this website! This week we got a clash of titans. The earth will shake and mountains will be moved when these two juggernauts will meet. When the dust settles one will be left standing. But which one?!? Join us all and sit back and enjoy this 'rumble in the jungle'!

And now for a bit of breaking news! Last game and this week again we managed to get analysis of the game from the very best analyst in the business!

Well, now we can announce that this will now be our very own resident analyst. His name is of course known to all: smokerteer.

He had a cozy job at NFL but we managed to poach the very best in the business and in the future you will be able to read expert guidance to the Game of the Week. We are over the moon to have pulled off this shock transfer!

Smokerteer's Analysis:
Deflators are the only unbeaten team in Thunder 1:1. Indeed they have beaten teams like Wild Thangs, LM Pirates, Inbhir Narann and Xu Da, all play-off hopefuls in their own right. In some of these games their opposition have been brushed aside with such ease it must have been embarrassing for their counterparts.
That said M. Divers are no slouches themselves but the victory against Die Verdammten remains the only victory carved out so far against a play-off likely team. This is not a criticism of The Divers, you can only beat the teams in your schedule but so far they have only met two teams that seem to be heading into the play-offs and they have lost half of them. Inbhir Narann beat them in the second week by 10 points. Certainly not a terrible defeat but a defeat nonetheless. Whether M. Divers can beat a team like Deflators is questionable. Not necessarily because of their results so far but purely because of the lack of high quality opposition so far.
It is quite possible that if these two teams meet next season it could well be in Elite. M. Divers have homefield advantage in this game, but Deflators have the proven quality, so for me it is close but Deflators must be favourite, just.

Smokerteers prediction: Deflators 24 M. Divers 13

The beat writers just phoned in saying they were too busy watching NFL games to take interviews so they'll be done tomorrow morning

Our beat writer met up with what some people call the Belichick of RZA, thomastem of the M Divers:

Question 1.
You've been in Elite. The gap seems enormous when teams that dominate this league are relegation fodder (with all due respect) in Elite. How can this gap be closed?

It takes time to get the YA going and for the players from YA to mature. Once the YA has and is producing Elite starters and they have developed then newer teams have a shot at competing in Elite. Think about it, the first 16 year old pulled won't be 26 for 10 seasons.

The TM can fill holes and is critical bur until you have a steady supply of homegrown talent you can't compete with those that do.

Question 2.
Deflators in the top 5 of the sack rankings with 33 sacks in 10 games. You have sacked opposing QBs 50 times in 10 games but your QB has only been sacked once so far so it seems this game might hinge on the D versus O line battle. Are you concerned at all regarding this statistic and will you gameplan to reduce the risk of your QB getting sacked?

More concerned with turnovers but yes we will try to avoid those negative sacks as well.

Question 3.
What do you think the key deciding factor in this game will be?

We are just going to try to not get blown out. If we can be +4 on the turnovers then we might be able to keep it as close as Smokey predicts. If not a long day will become real long for the M. Divers.

And finally we met up with IMGregory in a local coffee bar (he paid ) and he had this to say:

Question 1.
You've been in Elite. The gap seems enormous when teams that dominate this league are relegation fodder (with all due respect) in Elite. How can this gap be closed?

Time, patience, and development, that's all there really is to it. There are a lot of established teams who've hung up there for a long time. I'd say we hung rather well with those teams last season even though we went 4-12. Still, we know we have more work to do before we take the fight to those boys in elite.

Question 2.
Divers are joined top in the sack rankings with 50 sacks in 10 games. Your QB has only been sacked once so far so it seems this game might hinge on the D versus O line battle. Are you concerned at all regarding this statistic?

Not too much, considering that more than half of their sacks have come from one guy: Zenon Misiak. He's also their team leader in interceptions, so clearly he's the guy that makes their defense run. I believe that if we can make him as much of a non-factor as possible, everything else offensively should fall into place.

Question 3.
What do you think the key deciding factor in this game will be?

I'm going into this with the mentality that we need to play a perfect game in order to win. I'm not even thinking about the possibility of a perfect season, I'm more concerned with holding on to our 1 game lead in the division. I knew once I saw the schedule that this would be THE toughest game for us, and with practically every game from here on being a must-win game, we may have use every weapon in our arsenal.

I am going for a 31 - 27 win for M Divers, exciting game until the last play.

Are M. Divers underplaying their chance of the win and playing the underdog?

You made me the underdog so I don't have to play one, we are one.
