Welcome to the penultimate week of the regular season.

Severnside Cardinals 8 Wild Thangs 9

The Cardinals are holding onto the chance of making the playoffs. Today the meet the team they need to take the place of. Ultimately their future is not in their own hands but today atleast they can influence their season. Anything less than a win will see their season end.
Wild Thangs are still fighting for their division. They need to win both remaining games to be assured a playoff place and even then the division may not be theirs.
Two teams, evenly matched. It's a game that could go either way. But with different motivation for the two teams, Cardinals will be the more nervous. That's why I'll pick Wild Thangs

Basterds 12 Deflators 13

Basterds are still chasing Divers for top spot in the division. They are certainly a team that no-one would be surprised to see in the Bowl but the division looks beyond them.
Deflators are a hairs-breadth away from sealing their division, and again are a potential Bowl side.
This is another unpredictable game. For me either side can win this but Basterds seem more intense, Deflators more comfortable at controlling the game. I'll go Basterds, just.

Basterds 24 Deflators 20

M. Divers 13 Amersfoort Alligators 12

M. Divers are still trying to finish the season as the number one side in the NC. Technically they still need to wrap up their division, as they look to repeat a trip to Elite.
Amersfoort have won their division, and could mathematically win the top spot in the NC. This game will give an indication of whether they can be truly competitive in the playoffs.
The Divers weren't in Elite by accident last season. They are possibly the best team in the NC. Alligators are a great tactical team but have a tendency to get beaten up by the most powerful teams. For Alligators that needs to change if they are going to make an impact post season. I don't expect that to change today.

Budapest Wolves 10 Steelers 8

Budapest have wrapped up their division and now are just waiting for the post-season to start. A solid, powerful team that are difficult to beat when they are focussed. They seem to be a slow starter but finish seasons so strongly. The only criticism of them is that the slow start does cost them home-field advantage. It may come back to haunt them.
Steelers season is over.

Budapest Wolves 34 Steelers 6

LM Pirates 10 Ville Vikings 8

LM Pirates are still fighting for the division. The playoffs are likely theirs already but a win today should give them enough of a lead in the division race that they should fall over the winning line.
Ville Vikings need to win to keep them as narrow favourites to win their division, the wildcard is probably not an option.
This is yet another tight game but I think that the Pirates will prevail.

LM Pirates 21 Ville Vikings 17

Ramsey Raiders 4 Hucknall Broncos 13

Ramsey Raiders need to win to be sure of avoiding a relegation game.
Hucknall Broncos need to win comfortably to keep them as favourites to finish in first place in the NC.
This should be a mismatch. The Broncos have been able to beat the average and below average teams all season, The Raiders definitely fall into the below average category.

Ramsey Raiders 3 Hucknall Broncos 67

Chesterton Cheese 4 Toledo Tigers 11

Chesterton Cheese also need another win to be sure of avoiding the relegation match.
The Tigers can't realistically win their division and are already sure to be in the wildcard slot.
Here is another mismatch where Toledo will prove their class.

Chesterton Cheese 0 Toledo Tigers 78

Die Verdammten 11 Jac Team 3

Die Verdammten just need to keep winning, with a 66PD advantage, they won't be threatened by Toledo.
Jac Team will be facing a relegation game this season.
Jac Team have improved this season but this is still a mismatch.

Die Verdammten 48 Jac Team 3

Flow Gaming 8 Xu Da 5

Flow Gaming really could use a 100% record in their last two games. Their PD is lower the Ville Vikings and they are currently tied on wins. They will face The Vikings in their final game but need to remain within touching distance before that game.
Xu Da's season is over.
Xu Da aren't to be taken lightly but their form recently has been bad, especially by the standards of their earlier season. Xu Da could be the deciding factor in who wins the division but I've got to go for form here.

Flow Gaming 27 Xu Da 17

Inbhir Narann 11 SimKonville Fraggles 2

Inbhir Narann defeat to Deflators means that they will be playing in as a wildcard, albeit as a very dangerous wildcard. With two unmanaged teams to face in the run-in they will be a refreshed team when heading into the playoffs.

Inbhir Narann w/o SimKonville Fraggles

Totoras Patriots 5 The Green Machine 7

Both of these teams seasons are over.
This may be an irrelevant game but next season this could well be a playoff game. Totoras will be looking for a division title next season as they return to the sort of form they are known for. The Green Machine continue to impress week after week. They've come from nowhere to show they are not here to make up the numbers. Next season keep an eye on these two teams.

Totoras Patriots 17 The Green Machine 9

The SQUALES of Beach 7 UNTOUCHABLES 4

The Squales of Beach's season is over.
Untouchable need another win to be sure of avoiding the relegation game.
Normally Squales would be favourite here but Untouchables need to win and I think they'll do everything they can to win, it will be enough.

The SQUALES of Beach 24 UNTOUCHABLES 33

Bison City Nightcrew 8 PGI Andorre Solutions 1

Both these teams seasons are over.
PGI have been losing all season, I don't see that changing here

Bison City Nightcrew 38 PGI Andorre Solutions 3

Shropshire Swifts 1 Wolflings 7

Both these teams seasons are over.
Wolfings are hitting a bit of form and should be a team to keep an eye on next season.

Shropshire Swifts 0 Wolflings 38

Parma Horses 2 Pittsburgh Steelers 3

The Steelers are finishing their season with two games against unmanaged teams. It will keep them in Thunder 1:1

Parma Horses Pittsburgh Steelers w/o

Texas Tech 0 Dayton Tornados 4

Normally, when two unmanaged teams meet their is no need to comment on it. This is a little different, if Dayton Tornados win then they will have five wins and avoid the relegation match. That doesn't mean they will be in Thunder 1:1 next season but what it does mean is that one of the teams finishing on 4-12 will not avoid a relegation match. In short if Tornados win then there may well be an extra managed Thunder 1:1 team playing in the lower tier next season.

Texas Tech ? Dayton Tornados ?

Fortunately Tornados lost today

But the depth you go for your analysis is shown by you even finding interesting info to report on a game between two bots

That's probably more down to my side being one of the teams hoping to avoid the relegation match and being directly effected by their result! But thanks anyway
