Got some thinking to do...

Are you for real? Without moty you make the playoffs

You mean the cup? 13-2 doesn't guarantee advancing in the cup. And my PD is never high because I have more of a defensive team. If I lose to the Beers I may not advance. That is why I'm considering using MOTY. I'm only a 21 point favorite in the Beers game. That can go south quickly.

If I don't use MOTY I *might* beat the Adventurers. But a LOT of other teams will need to fall on their faces for a 10-6 team with low PD to make the playoffs. I'm not sure where you are getting your confidence from that 10-6 would put me in the playoffs.

if you were a 22 point dog to the Beers I could understand you considering the use of MOTY to try to turn it around and secure your place....but as you're favoured, id not even be giving it a second thought. The PC loss is not worth it when you still have an outside chance of the league playoffs, and will very likely make the SC playoffs anyway.

Have confidence in your team!

Yes I meant the supercup you'll be a 14-1 team which guarantees playoffs. If you can't beat a well below average 1.1 fire team you need to rethink your roster strategy

I expect to beat them, but nothing is ever guaranteed. It's more than an outside shot at the playoffs. We are talking about 9-5 teams needing to lose multiple games to 3-9 teams that are rated 20 points lower. I don't think either of you have really looked at the schedules of the teams involved. Not using my MOTY would be a waste of experience.

Magpies: Three challenging games remaining, but one win will put them over me in terms of PD. Will they lose to the Lions again?

Adventurers: If they lose to Vamoshi and beat the Magpies, then I have a slim chance to beat these two teams. But of course I still have to beat them myself.

Dog Soldiers: Should win all three games.

Vikings: Two easy games remaining in their schedule, but even if they lose one, they will probably win by PD.

There is a very slim chance, but it became a LOT slimmer after that disappointing lose to the Magpies. I guess I could still turn on MOTY for today's game if I don't want to waste the experience. But I'm definitely going to regret it if the Beers pull a coup on me. My hotshot LB coach is extremely inconsistent, so the team's performance can vary greatly. And the Beers team rating is pretty similar to mine.

Very interesting wild card race in our conference. Any team that falters in the home stretch will likely find themselves missing the playoffs.
Remaining games;
Magpies 9-4 play Adventures 8-5, Yellowcakes 9-4, Lions 3-10
Vikings 9-4 play Beavers 4-9, Silverbacks 1-12, Electric 11-2
Adventurers 8-5 play Magpies 9-4, Wildcats 7-6, Vamosahi 11-2
Dog Soldiers 8-5 play Bulldozers 2-11, Chronicles 1-12, Badgers 3-10
Wildcats 7-6 play Ravens (bot), Adventurers 8-5, Jacks 3-10

The Dog Soldiers have the easiest remaining games by far with their three opponents totaling just six wins combined to this point. The Adventurers have the hardest remaining games with their final three opponents totaling 27 wins. I think it will take 11 wins to make the playoffs in the NC and there is a good chance 3 teams will reach that mark, but any given Sunday! I'm sure there is a spoiler lurking out there.

I'm lurking....in the basement.

Couldn't recover from losing my starting quarterback and middle LB at the same time.

I'll be hanging out in the 2nd division, and hopefully back up to 1.1 for the following season where I can once again muster my normal level of mediocrity.

Woops

Forgot to put in more subs to my rookie lineup after I hurriedly changed the game over to MOTY. Now I will probably lose both games next week,
