Really surprised with the win today as recent form has been shocking. Still in with a shout for the playoffs but it's going to be tight (as the bishop said to the actress).

Whelp, clinched the division while getting my second team a lot of experience. The downside is that the wildcard competition is looking pretty tough.

Great game Motol Ducks, it was intense and hard fought until the end.
The last drive brought us to a 58 yards FG, unfortunately missed, but we lost the game in the defensive fundamentals : as Lakers CBs came out of the match with less than 50% of successful tackles. We are out of the playoff so far and going for a positive final record which is still an outstanding result for us. Congratulations to all teams that gained and will gain the playoff stage. We will follow the post-season from our sofa

I don't think you'll be following the post-season from your sofa next season. Definitely the team no-one will want to face. |

Thanks for your kind words, but I will lose 3 key players for retirement.
The young backups are not ready yet. so I think I'll have another season to go nowhere. |

Don't worry too much about retiring players - I've got 7 this season and had the same or thereabouts for the last 3 of 4 seasons. You'll notice a drop off in the team. but not too drastic. You'll be just fine. |

The number one way to have a consistently good team is to plan for retirements well in advance. This is a good time to buy vets off the market, as people who missed the playoffs sell off.
