Based on your number: you ave around 900 million on your account, and plan to overspend 20-30 million per season. This makes you "untouchable" by a team not able to overspend for around 30 to 40 seasons...no, this is not what we want from the competition point of view.
Once more, why are you guys so greedy not to give up a little from your GAINS!...Meitheismen would spend exactly nothing on taxes, since his GAINS are below zero... Could someone answer the bold please? |

That's why I suggested a limit on players salary Pete!
I said myself that your tax would not affect me and that imo the best way imo to limit the financial advantage teams like mine have is to put a strict salary cap. And btw, why should a new team be able to compete with me by overspending $30M a season? I've earned this right by playing this game for 15 seasons without buying players on the TM and basically having no chance of winning my league (even my division) for years of real life. My bank balance is my reward for having been extremely patient and taking a very slow build approach. If another manager wants to follow my footsteps and overspend $30M a year for 30 seasons he can, he'll just have to save money for 15 seasons like I did. |

I don't want my savings to help a manager who spends his money without taking care about his finances. No tax on savings, no tax on rewards. A tax based on income (ticket income and transfert market) to help new teams would be acceptable. (No - dare you to touch my gains... That was my choice) |

Wait...
Manager a has income from tickets and so on: 50 million. He spends on expenses: 70 million: Gain: -20 million Manager b has income from tickets and so on: 50 million. He spends on expenses: 30 million: Gain: 20 million It is better to have taxes on both these 50 million??? Every single income tax system in the world works different, because it causes taxes on manager b only, which is my plan...B would pay 10-15% on these 20 million, if he has more than X on his bank account, only. Manager a would pay no single cent. If manager B has less than X on his bank account, he pays nothing as well... Now tell me again, this (my idea) is more crucial than income tax... Could someone answer the bold please? I have no problem with you taxing my gains since as you pointed out I don't have any. However, I don't think this is a good way to go because if a team joins today and wants to follow my strategy (save for 15 seasons and then overspend for 30 seasons) it will be harder for that team than it was for me. I'm actually not thinking of my team's personal interest here but about the game as a whole. |

You are not supposed to overspend 30 seasons, you are supposed to overspend a max of maybe 5 seasons...period!

As I said before, there I could live with a plain tax on all season gains, as long as it is not tied to the bank account (which is the case atm if I understood the current suggestion correctly.) BUT (and pls dont quote just that but and claim I am screaming for no reason) I am against this tax going to players that overspend. If it goes either a) just to non-Top Managers or b) directly out of the game 'm okay with it. Not a fan, but i won't complain either. |
